At the end of September the club made the right move, returning Andrei Sokolov to the coaching staff, who worked with defenders in Chelyabinsk last season. The number of goals conceded immediately noticeably decreased, but the attacking hockey that Titov invariably repeated about was no more. The only bright splash was the game with Admiral, but defeating one of the weakest teams is a so-so achievement.

The club's general manager Evgeny Gubarev said two weeks ago that the away series would be the moment of truth.
