Autodrome from September 1, detailed description of exercises. How to properly perform exercises on the race track

In this article we will tell you about the updated rules for passing the very first part of practical driving - exercises on the race track. Starting from September 1, 2016, the list of exercises for the exam at the race track will include several new exercises that will be installed for all categories of vehicles.

The updated rules for conducting exams are described by the Administrative Regulations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the provision of public services for conducting an exam for the right to drive a vehicle and issuing a driver’s license.

Let's look at new exercises on the race track when passing the driving test.

New exercises for the exam at the race track - categories “B”, “C”, “D”, subcategories “B1”, “C1”, “D1”

First, let's recall the exercises that were done before:

  • Reverse entry;
  • Parallel parking;

So, the exam includes 4 of the 5 old exercises. These exercises are already familiar and we will not dwell on them in more detail in this article. You can find out more about them in the ““ section.

New exercises for the exam on the race track:

Rotates 90 degrees. This exercise is completely new. Its purpose is for the candidate to make a left turn and then a right turn. The situation is complicated by the fact that the space for maneuvering is limited.

New snake. This exercise replaces the “old” snake, which is well known to drivers. The diagram shows that the new exercise includes only one turn to the left and to the right. Such turns need to be performed along a smooth, smooth trajectory.

Driving through a controlled intersection. This innovation will only be available for exams at automated race tracks. You will need to drive up to a controlled intersection and continue driving in the indicated direction. It is clear that during maneuvers it will be necessary to coordinate the movement with traffic lights.

Until September 2016, the inspector can choose three exercises out of five when passing the exam at the circuit. Starting September 1, this rule will change.

In order to successfully pass the exam, the driver must complete the following exercises:

  • Entering the box in reverse;
  • Stopping/starting movement when climbing;
  • Parallel parking;

In addition to these exercises, the inspector will choose two more exercises out of three:

  • New snake;
  • Turning around in confined spaces;
  • Rotates 90 degrees;

If the exam takes place on an automated racing track, you will need to go through one more exercise here:

  • Driving through a controlled intersection.

This means that from September 1, 2016, the exam on the racing track includes 5 exercises or 6 for the automated racing track.

New exercises for the exam at the race track - categories “A”, “M”, subcategory “A1”

The list of exercises has also been updated for two-wheeled vehicles:

  • Maneuvering in confined spaces, braking/stopping when moving at different speeds, including emergency stopping;
  • Parking, leaving the parking lot;
  • Stop for safe disembarkation/pick-up of passengers.

Note that all exercises used before September 2016 are combined into exercise 1:

The first exercise will consist of four parts:

  • Dimensional corridor;
  • Dimensional eight;
  • High-speed maneuvering;
  • Snake.

A specific feature of the speed maneuvering exercise is that it must be completed in a maximum of 35 seconds.

The second exercise is aimed at parking two-wheelers in reverse. Due to the fact that the motorcycle does not have a reverse gear, the driver will need to dismount when parking.

The third exercise challenges the motorcyclist to park near a curb. In this exercise, the distance to the curb should be no more than 30 centimeters.

The second and third exercises are completely new and have not been used in exams before.

New exercises for the exam on the racing track - category “E”

Significant changes have occurred with the list of exercises in categories BE, CE, C1E, DE, D1E. Let us recall that before the innovations it was necessary to complete only 2 exercises to obtain rights in these categories:

  • Positioning with the rear side to the platform;
  • Straight forward movement in reverse.
  • Reversing, maneuvering in reverse, entering the pit in reverse;
  • Coupling/uncoupling of trailer and tractor;
  • Maneuvering in confined spaces, stopping to safely disembark/embark passengers;
  • Parking the car, leaving the parking lot, parking on the loading ramp for loading.

Coupling/uncoupling of trailer and tractor (not shown in the picture). In this exercise, the driver must demonstrate that he knows how to hitch. This also includes connecting electrical equipment and connecting brakes.

Maneuvering in confined spaces, stopping to safely disembark/embark passengers involves turning the vehicle 90 degrees and stopping near the curb at a distance of no more than one meter. In such a situation, of course, you cannot drive onto the curb.

Reversing, maneuvering in reverse, entering the pit in reverse. This exercise is similar to the “Entering Boxing” exercise for category “B”. But there are also some peculiarities here:

  1. First: the box for cars of category “E” is much wider.
  2. Second: the car should be stopped from the right wall at a distance of no more than 1.5 meters and at a distance of no more than 1.5 meters from the rear (rear) wall.

Parking, leaving the parking lot, parking at the loading ramp for loading. The exercise is similar to “Parallel parking” in category “B”. The difference is that the trailer itself is parked at the loading dock. This means that the distance between the tailgate and the racks should be no more than 1 meter (for categories BE/C1E/D1E) or no more than 1.5 meters (for categories CE/DE).

In general, passing the exam at the race track in category “E” will also become more difficult. But the control skills developed during such exercises should significantly simplify the driver’s work in the future.

With this, we have covered all the updated exercises for passing the motor racing exam.

Starting from September 1, 2016, a new regulatory legal document comes into force -. This document introduces a new procedure for passing exams in the traffic police, which differs significantly from the existing one.

Starting from September 1, the official set of exam tickets will be posted on the traffic police website, so you can go there at any time and check whether you are deciding on the correct tickets. (www.gibdd.ru).

What changed

Updated rules for passing theory

First of all, let's look at the completely new concept of "Thematic block":

The most interesting innovation in the theoretical exam is additional questions for errors. There can be 5 or 10 additional questions:

5 additional questions

For example, if an error is made in question 4, then you will additionally have to answer questions 1-5 from some other ticket. If a mistake is made in question 17, you will have to additionally answer questions 16-20.

10 additional questions

Quote from the Administrative Regulations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation99. In the event that, when answering the questions on the ticket, the driver candidate made two mistakes in different thematic blocks or did not answer two questions in different thematic blocks in the allotted time, or made one mistake and did not answer in the allotted time one question in different thematic blocks, he is given the opportunity to answer 10 questions from two additional thematic blocks within 10 minutes. Additional thematic blocks are selected from the same groups as thematic blocks, when answering the questions of which the driver candidate made mistakes or did not give answers or made a mistake and did not give an answer. If a driver candidate answers correctly 10 questions from additional thematic blocks within the allotted time, he is given a “PASS” grade.

For example, if errors are made in questions 1 and 11, the driver candidate will receive blocks with questions 1-5 and 11-15 from other tickets.

Another example. If errors are made in questions 14 and 15, i.e. in one thematic block, then additional questions are not displayed on the screen. This automatically means that the exam has not been passed.

Those. The exam can be taken in two cases:

1. The driver candidate answered all 20 questions correctly.

2. The driver candidate made 1 or 2 mistakes (in different blocks) of the main questions, and then answered all the additional questions correctly.

Those. In general, passing the theoretical exam becomes more difficult from September 1, 2016. Let me remind you that before September 1 you can make one or two mistakes and the exam will still be considered passed.

New exercises for passing the exam at the race track

Starting from September 1, 2016, the list of exercises at the circuit will include several new exercises for all categories of vehicles; new system ratings.

New exercises on the circuit for categories B, C, D and subcategories B1, C1, D1

Exercises that haven't changed:

New exercises on the circuit:

  • New snake;

New snake. This exercise will replace the “old” snake, well known to all drivers. Please note that the new snake only includes one turn to the left and one turn to the right. However, they need to be performed along a smooth trajectory.

  • Rotates 90 degrees;

Rotates 90 degrees. This exercise is completely new. It consists in the fact that the driver must make a left turn and a right turn. At the same time, the space for maneuver is limited.

Driving through a controlled intersection. This exercise will only be used on automated racing tracks. You need to drive up to the intersection and drive through it in the given direction. In this case, you should be guided by traffic lights.

On an automated racing track you also need to perform the following exercise:

  • Driving through a controlled intersection.

Those. The exam at the racing track from September 1, 2016 includes 5 exercises (6 at the automated racing track).

New exercises on the circuit for categories A, M and subcategory A1

Updated list of exercises for two-wheelers:

Please note that all exercises used before September 1, 2016 will be combined into exercise number 1.

Exercise 1 consists of 4 parts:

  • Dimensional eight;
  • Snake;
  • High-speed maneuvering;
  • Large corridor.

An interesting feature of the high-speed maneuvering exercise is that it must be completed within 35 seconds.

Exercise 2 involves parking a motorcycle in reverse into a parking space. Since the motorcycle does not have a reverse gear, the candidate driver must dismount when parking.

Exercise 3 involves the candidate driver having to park the motorcycle near the curb. In this case, the distance to the curb should not exceed 30 centimeters.

Exercises 2 and 3 are completely new and have not previously been used in traffic police exams.

New exercises on the circuit for category E

The list of exercises for categories BE, CE, DE, C1E, D1E has also undergone significant changes. Let me remind you that previously, to obtain the rights of these categories, you only had to complete 2 exercises:

  • Positioning to the platform with the rear side;
  • Straight forward movement in reverse.

List of exercises for category E from September 1, 2016:

  • Coupling and uncoupling a trailer with a tractor;
  • Maneuvering in confined spaces, stopping to safely board or disembark passengers;
  • Driving and maneuvering in reverse, entering the box in reverse;
  • Parking the vehicle and leaving the parking space, parking for loading on the loading ramp.
    • Coupling and uncoupling a trailer with a tractor (not shown in the figure). In this exercise, the candidate driver must show that he can perform coupling (including connecting brakes and electrical equipment).
    • Maneuvering in a confined space, stopping to safely board or disembark passengers includes turning the vehicle 90 degrees, as well as stopping at a distance of no more than 1 meter from the curb. At the same time, of course, you cannot drive onto the curb.
    • Driving and maneuvering in reverse, entering the pit in reverse. This exercise is similar to the “Entering Boxing” exercise for category B. However, there are some peculiarities. Firstly, the box for category E vehicles is much wider. Secondly, you need to stop at a distance of no more than 1.5 meters from the right wall of the box and no more than 1.5 meters from the rear wall.
    • Parking the vehicle and leaving the parking space, parking for loading on the loading ramp. The exercise layout is similar to the Parallel Parking exercise for Category B. The difference is that the trailer must be parked at the loading dock, i.e. the distance from the tailgate to the racks should be no more than 1 meter (for BE, C1E and D1E) or 1.5 meters (for CE and DE)

Until September 1, 2016, when assessing the exam at the race track, a special table of penalty points is used, which provides different quantities penalty points for various mistakes. Starting September 1, a new scoring system will be applied, in which there are no penalty points at all. Let's take a closer look at it.

Features of the new racetrack exam scoring system

Let's look at the main features of the new racetrack exam assessment system:

1. No penalty points are awarded for mistakes. In the event of a serious violation, the exam will be immediately graded “FAIL”. An average error can only be made once. Minor violations can be made no more than 2 times; after the third mistake, the candidate driver will also receive a “FAIL” rating.

2. General system scores for all exercises. Previously, each exercise had its own table of penalty points. At the same time, a driver candidate could receive 4 penalty points (out of five) on each exercise and still successfully pass the exam. The new assessment system means that if a driver candidate commits the same minor violation 3 times during the entire test (for different exercises), then he will receive a “FAIL” grade.

3. General list of violations for all exercises. Previously, penalty point tables were individual for each exam element. Starting September 1, 2016, there will be a single scoring system that will be applied to all exercises.

In general, the new assessment system places more severe demands on the level of training of a driver candidate.

List of mistakes at the race track

Small errors

In this article, by small mistakes we mean those mistakes that can be made twice during the exam. After the third mistake, the exam is graded “FAIL”.

Minor errors include:

  • Hitting the marking line marking the boundary of the exercise or the marking equipment (cone). Please note that this paragraph deals with hitting the line, and not crossing it. If a car wheel crosses the marking line by even a millimeter, then the violation is serious. It will be discussed below.
  • Stopping the engine. If the car stalls three times, then the exam is failed.
  • When taking the exam on a motorcycle or moped, your foot is allowed to touch the surface of the platform.

Average errors

By average errors we mean errors that can be made only once during the exam at the race track:

The only average mistake is missing a turn signal when taking the test on a motorcycle or moped.

Serious errors

By serious errors we mean errors that lead to a “FAIL” grade the first time:

Quote from the Administrative Regulations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation 113.1. Did not start performing the test exercise within 30 seconds after receiving the command (signal) to begin its execution. 113.3. Driven (crossed with a wheel) beyond the boundaries of the test exercise areas, marked by white road marking lines 1.1 or 1.41 yellow and marking cones (marking posts) 2.1 Appendix No. 2 to the Rules of the Road Russian Federation.
2Next - “boundaries of exercise areas”.

113.4. Crossed the "STOP" line along the projection of the front dimension of the vehicle in cases where stopping in front of the "STOP" line is provided for by the conditions of the test exercise. 113.5. Did not cross the control line with the external dimensions of the vehicle in cases where crossing the control line is provided for by the conditions of the test exercise exercises. 113.6. Deviated from the given trajectory of movement provided for by the conditions of the test exercise. 113.8. Stopped at the corresponding marking line at a distance exceeding the control value. 113.9. Moved in reverse if reversing is not provided for by the conditions of the test exercise. 113.10. Exceeded the total time for performing test exercises. 113.11. When passing the exam for the right to drive vehicles of categories "M", "A" or subcategory "A1", exceeded the time for performing exercise element No. 1 "Speed maneuvering". Stopping and starting to move on a rise" allowed the vehicle to roll back on a rise by more than 0.3 m. 113.14. When performing the exercise "Passing a controlled intersection", drove through an intersection (entered an intersection) or crossed the "STOP" line according to the projection of the front clearance of the vehicle at a prohibiting traffic light signal. 113.15. Left the exam (refused to perform the test exercise).

Serious errors include the following situations:

  • The driver did not begin the exercise within 30 seconds after the examiner’s command.
  • The driver left the test (refused to complete the exercise).
  • The driver exceeded the total exercise time. Each exercise for category B (C, D, B1, C1, D1) is given 2 minutes, and the time required to move the car between exercises is also added to this time. Thus, a minimum of 10 minutes is given to complete 5 elements on the race track. You can find out more about the time for performing exercises in paragraphs 8 and 9 of Section III of Appendix 7 to the Administrative Regulations.
  • The driver exceeded the time limit for performing the “Speed Maneuvering” exercise. Motorcycle and moped drivers are given 35 seconds for this exercise.
  • The wheel crosses a solid marking line. Let me remind you once again that if you just drive over the line, the mistake will be considered easy. If you cross it, the error becomes serious.
  • Crossing the STOP line. This requirement when passing the exam for category B applies only to the exercise "Overpass".
  • Did not cross the control line with the dimensions of the vehicle. For category B, this requirement applies to the exercises “Entering the box” and “Parallel parking”.
  • Deviated from the specified trajectory. Starting from September 1, 2016, descriptions of all exercises contain movement trajectories. For example, parallel parking involves entering a parking space in one go. If the driver fails to do this and re-engages first gear, this will be considered a violation of the trajectory. The same applies to other exercises.
  • Stopped from the line at a distance exceeding the value in the administrative regulations. In the Category B exam, this requirement applies to the flyover exercise. The driver must stop at a distance of no more than 1 meter from the “STOP-1” line.
  • Reverse movement when performing an element where such movement is not provided. In the Category B exam, this requirement applies to the 90 degree turns and snake elements.
  • Rollback of more than 0.3 meters when performing the flyover exercise.
  • Crossing the stop line or driving through an intersection at a prohibitory traffic light when performing the "Controlled intersection" exercise.
    • in general, the requirements for driver candidates have become stricter. Many relaxations in the new administrative regulations have disappeared. For example, until September 1, 2016, a driver can complete the “Parallel Parking” exercise in 2 passes. After the introduction of the new regulations, deviation from the trajectory will lead to a “FAIL” rating, so the driver will not have a second attempt. That is, passing the exam at the race track will be somewhat more difficult.
    • However, there is no need to be afraid of this. To successfully pass the exam, I recommend that you study the series of articles “Pass the race track in half a kick.” The exercise schemes given there allow you to pass all the elements in 1 attempt.

Features of passing the third part of the exam for obtaining a driver's license - DRIVING in the CITY

1. Maximum driving time during the test

Presence of an instructor in the vehicle

Clause 122 of the regulations provides a list of persons who may be in a training vehicle:

Penalty points on the exam in the city

Unlike the autodrome, where a completely new system for evaluating results was introduced, the city has retained a scheme proven over the years with penalty points:

quote from the Administrative Regulations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation129. Errors are classified as gross, medium and minor. For each mistake, the candidate driver is awarded penalty points: for a gross one - 5, for a medium one - 3, for a minor one - 1.130. Management exam result vehicle in conditions traffic is considered positive and the driver candidate is given a “PASS” grade if the driver candidate did not make any mistakes during the exam or the sum of penalty points for mistakes made was less than 5 points. If the sum of penalty points for mistakes made is 5 points or more, The driver candidate is given a “FAIL” grade and the exam is terminated.

However, I would like to draw your attention to one interesting point. Violation of clause 14.2 of traffic rules can be considered both gross and moderate:

It is quite difficult to draw the line between these violations, so for violating clause 14.2 in the exam, a driver candidate will most likely receive 5 points. So be careful.

Summing up the series of articles

"Exams in the traffic police since 2016":

1. The rules for passing exams in the traffic police have changed significantly. Many questions that previously had no answers are now clearly regulated.

2.Theory. Passing the theoretical exam will be more difficult because... For a mistake, the driver will receive 5 additional questions in which mistakes cannot be made.

3. Autodrome. The test at the race track also becomes more difficult. First, several new exercises will be added. Secondly, the exam evaluation system will change.

4.City. This stage has undergone only minor changes. If it will be more difficult to pass, it will be only by a little bit.

Hello, dear readers! Today ( with a driving instructor in Veliky Novgorod) we return again to the topic of how to pass the race track correctly ( closed area) in the traffic police and what exercises await us. Let us draw the first conclusions regarding the commissioning of the circuit in accordance with the new regulations, which came into force on September 1, 2016.

Exams under the new rules have been accepted for the third month. We all expected that passing the exam at the race track using the new program would become more difficult, but everything turned out to be a little different. The most important change is that two new exercises have been added ( element), or rather one is new, and the second has been changed. As we remember, there used to be five mandatory exercises at the race track, “Stopping and starting on a hill” ( overpass), “Entering the box in reverse” ( garage), “Parking a vehicle and leaving a parking space” ( parallel parking), “Turn in a confined space” and “Snake”. During the exam, it was necessary to complete three exercises out of five, which were assigned by the examiner. Since September 1, 2016, these exercises have also been included in the exam program at the race track. They added “90 degree turns” and changed “Snake”. “90 degree turns” is a completely new exercise ( or rather an element of the exercise “Maneuvering in a confined space”), when performing it, the candidate driver must perform sequential left, then immediately right turns at an angle of 90 degrees; we will consider the exercise in more detail below.

As mentioned above, the rest of the exercises on the circuit ( closed area) remained unchanged, except for their sizes and some changes during execution. Only one of the exercises has undergone significant changes, this is the snake. And perhaps these changes, for those taking the exam, better side. What the previous snake represented can be seen in the article - Let's rent out a race track. When performing a new exercise, the candidate driver now needs to make only two smooth turns, the first to the left, then to the right. With a passage width of 3.9 meters, performing the exercise is not very difficult. If, when studying the previous snake, it was necessary to spend quite a lot of time to start performing the exercise accurately, then let’s say, the new snake can usually be completed the first time.

Of course, reading the new rules for taking the exam at the race track from September 1, 2016, you get the feeling that more exercises mean it’s more difficult to pass the exam, before there were three mandatory exercises and one could be redone in case of failure, now you need to complete all five exercises. But let’s look at the regulations for taking the exam at the race track. During the exam, when passing the autodrome, it is necessary to complete five of the six exercises, an overpass, a garage, and parallel parking are required, but the elements: 90-degree turns, a turn in a confined space and a snake are included in the exercise “Maneuvering in a confined space” and from Of these three elements, two must be completed, which are determined by the examiner. Let's see if any mistakes are made, the driver candidate receives a failing grade.

Conducting an exam on initial vehicle driving skills.

113. The “FAILED” grade is given if the driver candidate:

113.1. Did not start performing the test exercise within 30 seconds after receiving the command (signal) to start performing it.

113.2. Knocked down marking equipment 3 or more times.

113.3. According to the projection of the vehicle size, he drove beyond the boundaries of the test exercise areas, marked by white road marking lines 1.1 or yellow 1.4 1 and marking cones (marking posts) 2, or drove his wheel onto the marking line marking the boundaries of the test exercise areas, depending on the conditions performing a test exercise.

113.4. Crossed the “STOP” line along the projection of the front side of the vehicle in cases where stopping in front of the “STOP” line is provided for by the conditions of the test exercise.

113.5. Did not cross the control line with the external dimensions of the vehicle in cases where crossing the control line is provided for by the conditions of the test exercise.

113.6. Deviated from the given trajectory of movement provided for by the conditions of the test exercise.

113.7. Stopped the engine 3 or more times.

113.8. Stopped before the corresponding marking line at a distance exceeding the control value.

113.9. Driving in reverse if reversing is not provided for by the conditions of the test exercise.

113.10. Exceeded the total time for performing test exercises.

113.11. When passing the exam for the right to drive vehicles of categories “M”, “A” or subcategory “A1”, the time for performing element of exercise No. 1 “High-speed maneuvering” was exceeded.

113.12. When passing the exam for the right to drive vehicles of categories “M”, “A” or subcategory “A1”, he touched the surface of the platform with his foot (feet) 3 or more times in cases where the touch was not provided for by the conditions of the exercise or allowed the vehicle to overturn.

113.13. When performing the exercise “Stopping and starting to move on an incline,” the vehicle rolled back on an incline by more than 0.3 m.

113.14. When performing the exercise “Passing a controlled intersection”, you drove through an intersection (entered an intersection) or crossed the “STOP” line according to the projection of the front clearance of the vehicle when the traffic light signal was prohibiting.

113.15. Left the exam (refused to complete the test exercise).

Previously, when preparing for the exam and during the exam itself, it caused a certain difficulty, stopping in front of the stop line, which was present at the beginning of each exercise and at the end of performing a snake, turning in a confined space. The difficulty was primarily due to the fact that with insufficient driving skills and the desire to place the car correctly at the beginning of the exercise, it was quite difficult for students to do this. Now stop lines have not completely disappeared, but there are fewer of them.

The number of calls to the parking brake during exercises has also decreased; now, when stopping, it is enough to fix the vehicle in a stationary state.

It is important that the set of exercises on the race track, during the traffic police exam, is carried out for a time. Depending on the configuration of the indoor area, the time is calculated using a formula, but I can assure you that there will be enough time to complete all the exercises.

Let us now consider the exercises in more detail.

General instructions.

Performing a set of exercises on the race track starts from the “START” line ( stop lines). You need to park the car so that the front bumper does not cross the stop line. Complete the exercises with a full stop, at the “FINISH” line.

Maneuvering in confined spaces.

Performing the “Snake” element.

According to the new program, there is no need to stop before starting and finishing the “Snake” exercise. The driver candidate drives up to the beginning of the exercise and immediately begins to perform it, alternately making left and right turns along a given trajectory, and upon completion, leaves the exercise.

As I wrote above, the exercise has been simplified and in order to perform the snake correctly, you need to choose the right trajectory. Everyone probably remembers that when turning, the rear wheels of the car try to “catch up” with the front wheels along a short trajectory. Therefore, to prevent this from happening while performing the snake, it is necessary to move as far to the right as possible before the first turn, and after turning left, move closer to the left edge of the snake corridor. These are the main recommendations for this exercise.

Next element of the exercise "Turns 90 degrees" (from September 1, 2016).

Performing the “90 degree turns” element.

As when performing a snake, there is no need to stop before starting and finishing the exercise; the candidate driver alternately makes left and right turns at an angle of 90 degrees, along a given trajectory.

To perform “90 degree turns”, we start moving closer to the right wall of the driveway, as soon as the left rear view mirror aligns with the cone (1), quickly turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and, continuing to move, level the car ( steering wheel to straight position) if possible along the left wall of the exercise. At the next stage, as soon as the right rear view mirror is aligned with the cone (2), quickly turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, after making the turn, align the wheels again ( steering wheel to straight position) and complete the exercise.

Today we looked at two new elements, the Maneuvering in Confined Space exercises. In the next review, we will look at the rest of the exercises that are performed during the exam on initial vehicle driving skills on a race track ( closed area). If you have any questions, write.

According to the old rules for taking exams, you need to be able to do the following exercises at the race track site:

2. “Driving and maneuvering in reverse, entering the pit in reverse”
3. “Turning in a confined space”
4. “Snake”
5. “Parallel parking”

According to the old rules, during the exam you always did a “flyover” and 2 exercises to choose from from the 4 remaining ones.

According to the new regulations, which came into force on September 1, 2016, the set of exercises has been expanded. Now the list of exercises for categories B, C, D according to the new regulations is as follows:

1. “Stopping and starting on an uphill slope” (“overpass”)
2. “Maneuvering in a confined space”, the exercise consists of 3 elements “Turns by 90 degrees”, “Turning in a confined space” and “Snake” (2 out of 3 exercises are selected)
3. “Driving and maneuvering in reverse, entering the pit in reverse”
4. “Parking a vehicle and leaving a parking space, parking lot for loading (unloading) on a loading ramp (platform), stopping for safe boarding and disembarking of passengers”
5. “Passing through a controlled intersection” (for automated racing tracks)

That is, there are only 8 exercises; on a regular autodrome you need to do 5 exercises during the exam, on an automated one - 6 exercises.

According to the old rules of the traffic police exams, penalties are given for errors when performing an exercise. For example, when parallel parking, violations and points look like this:

– Knocked down elements of marking equipment or crossed the horizontal marking line of the site – 5 points

– Did not cross the dotted line (according to the projection of the vehicle’s side marker) – 5 points

– Failed to enter the parking zone when reverse gear was engaged once – 3 points

– Did not engage neutral gear after stopping with the engine running – 3 points

– Did not apply the parking brake after stopping in a parking zone – 3 points

– The engine stalled while performing the exercise – 1 point

According to the old rules, if during the execution you get 5 or more points, then the exercise is “not completed”. At the same time, to complete 3 exam exercises, you will have 4 attempts and have the opportunity to make a mistake once (fail to pass one exercise).

Feedback on passing the exam at the race track according to the new regulations (from 09/01/2016), St. Petersburg, is published with the kind consent of the author, who wished to remain anonymous:

I rented out the site on September 2 under the new regulations. There are new markings on the site and another car is a Focus sedan, white (before that it was the same, but silver). At the bottom right of the head-up monitor is 8-9″ and the image from 4 cameras is displayed, in the glove compartment there is a button to start this system. Before getting into the car, the inspector began to tell me how and where to move, like you could stall and run over the line 3 times, but I ignored this information. It gives you the opportunity to prepare. ATTENTION TO THE HANDBRAKE – I drove the car with it until the first exercise :). No matter how you adjust the landing, you won’t be able to control the clutch with your foot on the heel; on this machine the stupa will hang in the air. Roll down the driver's window (I'll tell you why later). The inspector gives the command “start” - turns on the camera recording and starts the stopwatch on the mobile phone. You need to start within 30 seconds. otherwise it's over.

All 5 exercises must be completed in 10 minutes! Do it quickly and seemingly without stopping.

So let's go!

Parallel parking. The main innovation is the absence of sticks in the cones; the inspector confirmed there will be no more sticks. I learned using the stick system and I had to struggle to catch the cone in the area of the rear door on the right. Then the question arose about where to crawl on straight wheels, I decided to focus on the yellow line on the left. Watched the left rear wheel and when it moved 10-15 cm beyond the line, it began to level out. This wheel is clearly visible in the left mirror, but I still leaned out to look through the open window :) This exercise took me 4 minutes - that’s a long time.

Turns 90 degrees. I did the exercise for the first time. I looked at how to do it on the pddmaster website. There were no problems at all; you need to save time on this exercise and save time for the next one.

Turn in three steps. Same thing, nothing new. The only thing is that the platform is not level on the left and the car must be held so that it does not roll itself - and this is a waste of precious seconds.

Overpass. During the last exams there was a deafness here. This time I decided to use the technique from the pddmaster website. I revved up to 3000 rpm and released the clutch to 1100-1200, then smoothly released the handbrake and... the car flew onto the overpass like a rocket. A bullet to enter the box.

Check-in to boxing. There are no sticks in the cones. Corners – the boundaries of the box are rounded, not at right angles. There is very little room to turn to the right, and the car is large. I suffered, lost time, but did it. Then quickly drive to the left and beyond the finish stop line, where the inspector stops the stopwatch.

As a result, it took 12.5 minutes out of the allotted 10 minutes to complete all the exercises, so they told me: “goodbye.”

Conclusion.

And I liked it! You will need to read the text, this will help save a minute or two in order to know where or not to stop after completing the exercise or whether you can fly to the next one. I asked the inspector again every time, but this wastes precious time.

You need to take a couple of lessons at the race track (without an instructor) where the markings are exactly according to GOST for high-speed practice of the exercise and weaning from the stick system.
Now, if someone took a photo of this site from above using a quadcopter, it would be useful to many!

Driving learning car:

A selection of videos with exercises performed on the racing track:

Universal ways of performing exercises on the court are given, that according to the new regulations, they began to put short cones instead of tall flags, it has little effect, adjust the settings of the mirrors. There are several videos on parallel parking; driving into the box is fundamentally very close to parallel parking.

Exercises at the autodrome site according to the new regulations (from September 1, 2016), video from the traffic police of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region (

From September 1, 2016, new rules for taking the test at the race track for novice motorists are being introduced in Russia.

Legislators, making changes to traffic rules, pursued the goal of increasing the level of safety on the roads, since, according to official statistics of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, larger number accidents occur precisely due to the actions of inexperienced drivers. And people who have managed to take several classes in the theoretical part are now increasingly wondering how to pass the autodrome.

Unfortunately, driving school students not only have to drive correctly, but also be trained by a good instructor. The qualifications of the latter not least determine how the exam will go at the race track. Additionally, it is equally important to know what exercises will be expected.

In 2018, novice drivers must comply with the following passing rules:

  1. Stop and start going uphill.

To complete this exercise, you must start from the first mark marked on the route and press the brake pedal near the second, driving no more than one meter further than it.

  1. Entering the garage from the back.

Having stopped within a given line, the novice driver reverses into the garage. There he brakes, after which he takes the car back to the race track.

  1. Parallel parking.

The exercise is considered one of the most difficult. The driver needs to place the car at a certain point, then drive between imaginary cars and leave this area.

  1. Turning around in a confined space.

Considered one of the most simple exercises when passing exams at the race track. To pass it, the student must stop at a given point, and then turn around within the outlined territory. In this case, you are only allowed to shift the gear into reverse once.

New elements of the circuit

New elements that have been introduced for novice drivers when passing exams at the circuit:

  1. Rotate 90 degrees. Actions similar to the previous exercise are performed in a confined space.
  2. Driving through a road intersection. Applicable only on automated racing tracks.
  3. Riding like a snake. It is necessary to make turns left and right along a smooth trajectory.

It is important to note that only those who have passed the traffic rules knowledge test can enter the site.

To successfully pass driving on a race track, you will need to complete the first three exercises from the old rules and two from the new ones (chosen by the examiner).

Reasons for failure

It will be difficult to pass the race track in half a kick if a novice driver:

  1. Feels unsure of himself.

Driving on a race track, like any other test, often causes anxiety and excitement. Moreover, their appearance is often not affected in any way by the experience of a novice driver. To suppress feelings of anxiety before passing traffic rules or entering the race track, it is recommended to take sedatives.

  1. Inattention.

The second most common reason for failing your driving test. This is primarily explained by the fact that a novice driver has little experience, so it is difficult for him to concentrate on the road and on the road at the same time. road signs while eliminating distractions.

  1. Low level of training.

Passing the driver's license exam always begins with passing the race track.

The inspector, before allowing a newcomer onto city highways, needs to find out whether this person is actually able to cope with driving the car and whether he knows the rules of the road.

This approach reduces the likelihood of an accident due to driver actions.

Exam preparation

So how to pass the exam? First of all, you need to prepare for it by performing a number of fairly simple steps:

  1. Choose suitable clothes.

Beginners are advised to wear shoes with thin soles. It allows you to better feel the pedals and adjust the pressing force. Shoes should not be wide. Otherwise, the likelihood of a beginner accidentally pressing two pedals at the same time increases.

From outerwear, you should choose one that fits comfortably. Coats and jackets should be removed before getting into the car. Also, do not wear clothes with wide sleeves.

  1. Speed selection.

You are given 2 minutes to complete all exercises on the race track. This is enough time to go through all the obstacles. To successfully complete tasks, you should not drive around the site. It is enough to move in first gear.

  1. Before starting, check whether the car's handbrake is released.

Quite often, novice drivers who are nervous forget that the car is held in place by the parking brake.

  1. Drive a lap around the race track before the test begins.

Not every instructor will agree to allow the examinee to complete one lap before performing the main exercises. This approach allows you to refresh your knowledge and skills.

Features of passing the exam

Before passing the site, it is necessary to evaluate its relief. The surface of most race tracks is laid at a certain angle, which can create certain difficulties when passing it. For example, after stopping it suddenly starts moving backwards. This circumstance must be taken into account during the exam.

As practice shows, you can complete all the exercises both at the very beginning and among the last examinees. However, it is the first ones who successfully pass the platform more often than others.

This is due to the fact that a long wait makes a person nervous. Accordingly, he becomes less confident. In addition, some examiners, seeing that all students have successfully completed the exercises, seek to stop this practice.

Schematically, the exam proceeds as follows: the student gets into the car, goes through all the specified exercises, stops the car and leaves it. If he did not make any mistakes, then the examiner does not report himself in any way. Otherwise, it sounds a sound signal, after which you must leave the car.

Innovations for other categories of transport

On September 1, 2016, new examination rules were introduced, which are valid in 2018 and apply to all types of vehicles.

Beginner motorcyclists must do the following:

  1. Maneuver in a limited area.
  2. Drive around the circuit with braking at the speed set by the examiner.
  3. Park the motorcycle.
  4. Make a stop in a place that is safe for boarding/disembarking people.

In addition, all examination actions that were carried out previously must now be completed in one go.
