Summer-autumn hunting season. Novosibirsk Regional Society of Hunters and Fishers

Shooting game has fed people for a long time. Nowadays, his goal is not to obtain food, but to maintain an optimal population of wild animals and birds. To prevent young animals and females bearing offspring from being shot, the state strictly regulates the time frame for fishing. You will learn about the limited time frame for the hunting season in the fall of 2016 from our article.

Who can hunt?

Experienced hunters can skip this point with a clear conscience, since everything that we will present here has long been known to them. But for novice hunters, this information will be very useful.

Become a hunter In the Russian Federation, any adult citizen who has received a hunting license and has written permission to purchase weapons can. A hunting license serves as confirmation that you have completed a theoretical training course and passed the hunting minimum - an exam that tests your knowledge of safety rules and standards for shooting game.

To be issued a permit to purchase a weapon, you must:

  • submit an application to the local office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with a request to issue a license to purchase hunting weapons. The application must be accompanied by the conclusion of a medical commission (form No. 046-1);
  • install a specialized safe in which weapons are stored and obtain written confirmation of this fact from the local inspector;
  • pay the state fee at the bank (its amount depends on the type of gun);
  • submit the listed documents to the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the place of registration.

Within a month you must receive either permission or a refusal to issue it. Let us immediately note: according to the law, a license to purchase rifled weapons is issued only to persons who have 5 years of hunting experience and have not committed a single administrative offense during this time. The rest have to be content with smooth-bore models.

Hunting... brings us closer to nature, teaches us patience, and sometimes even composure in the face of danger. Ivan Sergeevich Turgenev

Unwritten rules of hunters

Since you are handling firearms while hunting, you need to handle them with extreme caution. We will give some tips from experienced hunters that will help avoid accidents.

  1. You cannot finish off a wounded animal with a butt. Firstly, the gun can be damaged, and secondly, it can fire if there is still a charge in the muzzle.
  2. After a fall, be sure to check whether any dirt or dust has gotten into the barrel, otherwise the barrel may break when fired.
  3. Wounded deer, elk and wild boar should be approached from behind, so they will not be able to injure you. Pay attention to the ears: if they are pressed down, it means the animal is still alive and can attack.
  4. When approaching a person, building, car, you need to refract the gun to avoid an accidental shot. For the same reason, when getting into a car or snowmobile, you should remove the cartridges from the gun.
  5. When approaching a wounded animal, first reload your gun in case you have to use it.
  6. When heading to a hunting spot with other hunters, you cannot keep your gun loaded.
  7. When a cartridge has difficulty entering the chamber, it should be replaced.
  8. When moving through the swamp, probe the swamp with a pole and only when you are sure that there is solid ground in front of you, step forward. Remember the landmarks - they will help you find your way back.
  9. A hunting dog should not jump on its owner when he has a gun in his hands - it could fire.
  10. If one hunter killed the game, and another’s dog found it, the animal/bird goes to the dog’s owner, who must give the shooter two cartridges in return.

We wish the hunting season in autumn 2016 to be successful and safe for you!

The opening of the new 2016 hunting season will take place this fall. In regional territories this event will take place at different times. In some cities, the opening occurred at the end of July 2016. According to the rules, hunting begins in swamps and meadows first. Game is caught with the help of dogs specially trained for such an event.

You can hunt game in a specially designated area. Three hunters with special permission to store and use weapons take part. They must have a hunting license, waybill, and permission to shoot game with them. When using specially trained birds of prey for hunting, you must have permission to keep such an animal outside its will. To hunt with a purebred dog, keep with you a permit to hunt with the animal, a veterinary passport for the animal and a record of the completed rabies vaccination. Retriever, greyhound and spaniel dogs are often used for hunting.
