How to learn to take long shots in football. Kick actions

The ability to hit the ball hard, as well as accurately, is a very important skill for everyone, no matter what the player’s role in the team. If you use several useful tips, which will help you qualitatively improve your own strike, you can achieve a significant breakthrough. After a person learns to hit the ball quite hard with an ordinary kick, then most likely it will be very difficult for him to learn how to hit the ball clearly and correctly, like outer part your foot and your heel.

The basis of the correct strike

The main mistake that some players make every now and then is that they focus exclusively on the striking leg, but do not pay attention to the supporting leg at all. And it must be said that it is completely in vain, because most of such characteristics as the strength and accuracy of the blow depend most directly on how the supporting leg is placed. You can significantly improve your ball striking simply by slightly changing the position of your supporting foot during impact.

Does it depend initial position legs from the type of impact?

Yes, the type of kick will determine how you should place your foot, but you must always pay attention to the supporting leg.

We position the leg correctly

The supporting leg should always be at a distance of approximately 8-10 centimeters from the ball. The player needs to feel enough space to make the shot as comfortable as possible. The height of the ball impact directly depends on where exactly the foot is placed, whether in front or behind, or in line with the ball. It is also important not to move your leg too far - no more than a centimeter or two.

Advice

In general, if you just want to hit it straight, you need to place your foot in line with the ball. If a high shot is needed, then the foot should be slightly behind the ball. When a low kick is required, the foot is positioned immediately behind the ball.

How should you place your kicking foot?

The leg should be tense, but its toe barely touches the surface of the ground or field.

Basic conditions for a successful strike

  1. The foot should be tense, but not pinched in any way.
  2. Fingers should be pointing down
  3. The heel “looks” up

Advice

It turns out that in order to strike the ball correctly, you need to hit it either with your knuckle thumb, or the toe of the foot. This is exactly how the ball is kicked when playing football.

Impact force as a factor in the correctness of hitting the ball

The force of the blow should come from the hip, but not from the bent knee. The farther the leg is retracted, the more lethal the force of the blow delivered to the ball will be. But, here it is important not to overstrain your muscles during the strike, otherwise its strength will, on the contrary, decrease. Each hit on the ball must be trained so that it is as harsh as a blow from a whip. This will be a really powerful and accurate blow.

Does the angle of impact matter?

Yes. The degree of tilt of the body during impact will determine how hard and how accurately a person can hit.

Advice

If you need to hit the ball high, then you need to tilt your body a little back; if, on the contrary, you need to hit the ball with a low blow, then you need to lean forward. It is important that a person puts his own body weight into each blow. It is advisable to slightly tilt your head during the impact.

Conclusion:

In order to learn really good shots, you need to be able to correctly calculate the force of hitting the ball and be able to control it well. Dribbling or tapping training helps with this very well. You must also learn to land only on your supporting leg. After the blow, you should direct your body after the blow, which will give a very good increase in the force of the blow.

How to hit the ball correctly - learn from football players

Modern football cannot be imagined without beautiful, long-range shots on goal, such as, for example, Cristiano Ronaldo is famous for. No goals flying into the net from 30 meters. So how to train such a strike? This question was once answered by the famous army man, Honored Master of Sports, Alexey Grinin.

- “One-legged” is not so bad. We have a lot of such masters who, even with their strongest legs, cannot hit the goal very hard. In hitting the target, we are noticeably behind many foreign football players. The trouble is that most of our football players have not had a good shot since childhood. This is also where “one-leggedness” originates from the children’s section. The kids don’t like to do things they can’t do well during training. And, on the contrary, they like to train what works well. If children's trainer If this desire doesn’t overcome them and doesn’t force them to practice techniques more often with their weaker leg, then the football player will certainly grow up “one-legged.”

For more than twelve years I taught football players in the nursery sports school. The main feature of my students who achieved the greatest success in football was their great work ethic in training. They absorbed all the instructions and comments of the coach like a sponge. And they themselves looked carefully at everything that I showed them, adopted all the techniques and details of the technique. They did this consciously, not mechanically.

I start teaching 10-year-old beginners with a straight kick. This blow is quite complex in execution technique and nevertheless has advantages. Which ones exactly?

The straight up kick is one of the strongest. The technique of its execution can be called classical. Here, as it were, the basic elements necessary for a strong blow in any way are concentrated. In addition, in children’s games this blow is rarely used, independently young football players they will not be able to learn this blow.

Often young players become interested in various “dry sheets”, cut and twisted shots. When I check the beginners, I see that their blow flies this way and that. I immediately contrast this harmful hobby with direct and swipe. I know that if I give a student a straight shot, he will be able to hit the goal from 20-30 meters in the game, and when defending, he will be able to hit the goal 50-60 meters away from his goal.

When teaching beginners, I first demonstrate the straight lift shot in general. And then I teach the guys each element separately.

First of all, the swing. The wider it is, the harder the ball will be hit. It’s not easy for kids to master a wide swing. Each student has to be dealt with separately. Supporting the student so that he stands firmly on one leg, I swing my leg with him. The kids imitate the movements well, and this method gives good results.

The next element is the contact of the foot with the ball upon impact. You need to hit not with your fingers or with the bend of the ankle joint, but with the middle of your instep. The children learn this element against the wall. Then I give them special exercise- slowly hit medicine ball so they can feel the ball landing on their foot. And we were convinced that for good hit You need to apply a lot of force to the ball.

And further. At the moment the kicking leg touches the ball, the kicking leg is straight. The toe is pulled back, the ankle is tense. After the impact, the direction of the foot is exactly forward, without deviation to the right or left.

The supporting leg is also straight. At the moment of impact, the football player must rise on his toes so that the toe of the kicking leg does not touch the ground. Foot supporting leg placed next to the ball.

Having mastered all the elements individually, students begin to hit the ball with the ball. In winter, when training in the gym, such training is not difficult to organize. Here the children manage to make up to 500 blows. And I go from one to another and correct mistakes.

Many people bend their supporting leg at the moment of impact. You literally have to straighten it with your hand so that the student understands what his mistake is.

Often when kicking, football players bend the kicking leg at the knee, and as a result the ball flies upward, while the kick should be flat. This error is clearly visible when you observe the student from the side. I approach such a student and demand that he imitate a straight leg kick without a ball. I make sure he pulls his toe back. I tell some people that if you bend your knee, I will tie a stick to your leg.

The following mistake is also typical: at the moment of impact, the foot does not move exactly forward, but to the side. This is clearly visible in the final part of the movement, when you stand behind the student.

10-year-old football players need an eye and an eye. The old skills of illegal hitting that they acquired in the yards are very tenacious. And if you don’t follow the hitting technique for a week, then the children start hitting incorrectly. It seems that they have already mastered the technique. You'll loosen your control. And through training they appear again typical mistakes. Therefore, the basic elements of striking with beginners need to be rehearsed at every lesson.

The method of further training in hitting is the usual: after hitting from a place - hitting the ball in motion, hitting the oncoming and catching up ball. After about three months, students can be given exercises in more complex shots - on a ball rolling from the side, flying, jumping, etc. At first, only the most capable and diligent can do these exercises.

With two training sessions a week, I have time to teach the kids how to hit an oncoming and outgoing ball over the winter. During the summer, students reinforce these skills in a more challenging environment. For example, when combining strikes with a preliminary stop of the ball or a dribble of the opponent. The number of hits in each lesson is reduced by approximately three times, but the atmosphere is closer to that of a game. But in order to avoid errors in the movement technique, in the summer I gave tasks for simple shots against the wall.

For example, I believe that if a player does not have a strong kick, then he simply has nothing to do in football. A strong strike is especially important now, when 8-9 players are pulled into defense. It’s difficult to enter the penalty area with the ball. But, you can hit the goal from afar - with a strong and accurate well-placed shot.

You need to hit the ball not only beautifully, but also correctly

In football, the most valuable player is the one who can control the ball. The beauty of the game and the effectiveness of football players’ actions are largely determined by how they manage sports equipment. Mostly goals are scored with targeted shots executed technically correctly. To learn how to perform such shots, it is not enough to know how to hit the ball correctly. Many hours of training are also required to develop the necessary skills.

Need the right support

The way the ball flies is related to the position of the player’s body, as well as the support when making the strike. Football experts who know how to kick the ball correctly claim that in order to control the flight, you need to keep your foot near the ball according to certain rules. The blow will be powerful and football projectile will fly low if the limb and the ball are positioned on the same axis. He will fly high if the leg is far behind him.

Body position

When answering the question of how to hit the ball correctly, it should be noted that body placement is also of great importance. If his body is tilted back, he will fly high. When the body is tilted forward, the blow will be strong and the flight will be lower. It is also important that the knee of the kicking leg is positioned above it at the moment of interaction with the ball. In this case, the applied force will be maximum. In general, for a strong blow, the main thing is not so much the movement of the striking leg, but the coordinated work of the whole body.

We beat internal part feet

To perform this technique, the technique of hitting the ball must be different. The foot is located a short distance from the ball. During the movement of the kicking leg, the ankle is in a perpendicular position to the relative supporting leg. You need to hit the middle of the ball, while continuing to move your foot further. If everything is done correctly, it will fly smoothly without bouncing on the ground.

We hit with the outside

When performing this technical action, we place the leg in front of the ball on the side, and turn the foot with the toe inward. The body is tilted slightly forward. It should be remembered that the height of the flight path depends on the gap between the support and the ball, as well as on the position of the foot: the closer the foot and the greater the turn of the toe, the lower the flight will be.

We hit with a lift

Knowing how to hit the ball correctly, it is not difficult to master the instep shot. This action is considered the most important in football. To perform such a strike, several rules must be followed:

  • the foot and the ball are located on the same axis;
  • the foot looks in the direction of movement;
  • the ankle is tense when touched;
  • body with a forward slope.

The flight will be low on an impact that is made with the foot directly at or above the center. The most accurate and powerful hit on the ball is achieved with this technique.

We hit with the toe

The foot is placed behind the ball. The swing is made quickly with additional movement of the hips, the fingers are tense and slightly raised. When the toe hits the center soccer ball the blow will be strong and direct.

The toe is in contact with the ball below its horizontal axis. If you mentally extend the line formed by the heel, toe, the point of application of the impact force and the center of the ball, then this will be the line of departure of the ball.

The nature of the ball's flight, its direction and distance depend on where and at what angle the blow is struck (Fig. 2).

Lifting kick. The lifting kick is the main and most difficult in football technique. With this strike, the contact of a large instep area with the ball ensures significantly greater accuracy than with a toe strike (Fig. 3).

A kick with a straight run-up to a stationary ball; the ball goes down. The player takes a run and, as he approaches the ball, leans his body forward slightly. He places his supporting leg, slightly bent at the knee for greater stability, level with the ball, slightly to the side of it. The weight of the body is entirely on the supporting leg (Fig. 4).

The kicking leg, having made a swing, moves towards the ball. At the beginning of the movement, this leg is bent at the knee, the thigh is pulled back, ankle joint not tense. Then, lowering down and forward, the thigh pulls the lower leg behind it. The angle formed by the thigh and lower leg must be maintained as long as possible (Fig. 5, 6). Before the strike is executed, the shin, as if lagging behind the thigh until this moment, sharply rushes forward towards the ball - and so as not to touch the ground. At the moment of impact, the body weight is on the supporting leg, slightly bent at the knee. The kicking leg bends at the knee a little more than the supporting leg. The knee of the kicking leg is above the ball.

When approaching the ball, the instep is extended and tense, the lower leg is lowered at an angle to the surface of the ground. To enhance the blow, the body straightens. The arm, the same as the supporting leg, passes forward and ends the movement, bending at the chest.

After the strike, the striking leg sharply continues to move forward, maintaining the position of the shin and lift at the same angle. This movement occurs due to bending of the supporting leg and extension of the pelvis.

In order for the ball to go low, you must follow correct position shins and feet at the moment of impact and drive (during an instep strike, the leg moves forward with the ball for some time, as if following the ball, hence the term “drive” adopted V football).

In order to direct the ball upward, you need to place your supporting leg behind the side, or at the moment of impact, straighten the hitting leg, moving it slightly upward and without sending the pelvis forward (Fig. 7).

Figures 8, 9 and 10 show the moments of impact at which the ball will go low. If you carefully examine the drawings, it is easy to see that the position of the shin and foot is the same for all impacts. However, the hip, torso and supporting leg are positioned differently.

The kick described above is known among football players as a “straight up kick.”

If a player, when hitting with an instep, brings his foot to the ball in such a position that the ball comes into contact with the instep not in its middle (along the longitudinal axis, which always falls on the lacing of the boot), but on any side of the lacing, then such a blow is called “ blow by the outer or inner part of the lift.”

Methods of kicking the ball in football

The beauty of the ball's flight, accuracy and force of impact are the result of long training. Achieve correct technique in working with the ball is quite achievable. By studying and mastering the basic types of hitting the ball, everyone can improve their role in football team the most varied competitive levels.

The main quality of a football player is his professionalism. It is defined both from the point of view of team actions and individual ones. In order to make an accurate pass, accurately and accurately take a free kick or penalty, you need to know how to hit the ball correctly in various game situations.

How to hit the ball correctly?

In football, there are two types of kicks: grounded and volleyed. In this case, they are performed both on a stationary ball, and on a rolling or flying one. Kicks are performed from a place and in motion, from a turn, in a jump and in a fall.

Any technique with the ball consists of three stages:

Stage 1 – take-off run. The speed and length of the run-up are individual things, depending on the specific moment of the game.

Stage 2 – the process of swinging the striking leg with the simultaneous placement of the supporting leg. Strength depends on hip extension and flexion shin legs, producing movement. Proper execution The swing is carried out by lengthening the last step during the take-off.

Stage 3 is hitting the ball. It is considered correct if the one who hits, in the process, sees his kicking leg.

In the process, the position of the supporting and kicking legs is determined, as well as the tilt of the body. The main condition for performing an accurate and strong blow is the correct position of the supporting leg. Even a slight inaccurate positioning of it relative to the ball will significantly change the force of the impact and the flight trajectory of the leather projectile. The support foot is an indicator of the direction of the ball. It also determines the flight height of the projectile, depending on its position (in front, behind or parallel to the ball). Having struck right foot, the left arm is extended to the side, maintaining the balance of the body. When performing a similar action with the left leg, the right arm is moved to the side. The height of the ball's flight is also determined by the degree of deflection of the body.

The force coming from the hip depends on the extent of the swing. Sometimes the striker takes a solid acceleration, makes an impressive swing, but the blow is not strong enough due to muscle strain. Every action has a reasonable limit.

Types and features of technical techniques

There is no limit to polishing the perfection of football skills. With persistent training, the basic technical techniques for hitting the ball are achieved to perfection:

From the rise;

Cheek;

Swedish;

With twist;

Overhead kick;

Toe (toe);

With hook;

Heel.

The take-off is carried out with the central part of the foot. The force is proportional to the area of contact between the foot and the ball. The method is most often used when hitting a flying ball. A feature of this technique is the low accuracy of hitting the target.

Cheek technique ( inside feet) is the most accurate in football, although it loses in strength due to the small amplitude of the swing. Used for passes, as well as penalty kicks.

Swede kick ( outside foot) is caused by the inward rotation of the foot. In this case, the trajectory of the ball can be completely unpredictable. With sufficient training, such a blow achieves considerable force.

The technique with a twist is a technique of a real master. The spin of the ball is carried out by the outside and inside of the boot. When performing an internal twist, the blow is delivered by the location of the big toe. A nuance is the automatic extension of the leg movement after the completed action. The external twist is a variation of the Swede's technique. In this case, the supporting leg is placed further than the line of the ball. The kicking leg continues the movement of the ball, turning the foot inward.

The lob is most often used when delivering the ball into someone else's penalty area from corner kicks, as well as when hastily clearing a leather projectile away from one's own goal. In this case, with a blow from below, the ball is given the most high trajectory flight.

Pyrom (from the toe) is performed with strength. This is a yard football technique. In this case, a blow is made to the middle part of the ball, and it, having acquired significant acceleration, often does not fly along the given trajectory. Sometimes this technique is used to perform a penalty kick, delivering a powerful blow. In this case, the foot of the supporting leg is always turned forward.

The ball is cut under the ball with a sharp stop of the foot. The blow is carried out bottom lifting the foot.

The heel strike is usually performed in dynamic situations when there is no other way to strike. In this case, the toes of both feet should be directed forward. They beat in bottom part ball. The protrusion of one leg forward will make it possible to correct its direction.

Are there universal techniques? Hardly. Rather, it is the individual technique of world-class football players. These include free kicks with the ball twisted with the inside of the foot performed by D. Beckham, and the famous Czechoslovak “panenka” when taking a 11-meter penalty kick easy method undercuts of the ball. Many remember the strongest free kick by R. Carlos with an external spin on the ball and a shot from the toe by I. Belanov.

Football is a fast game. The ability of players to play the game is highly valued. high speeds. In this case, the ball is hit while running. This can be a cross or a serve, a sweep shot over the goalkeeper, a cheek, Swedish, or toe reception. The main thing here is to make the best decision.

Basics of the first training sessions

Hitting the ball in football is the most important component of the game. But all types of ball techniques are of little value without regular training sessions that contribute to the constant improvement of football skills.

Any football player starts training sessions after the results of a medical examination and permission to visit them, issued by a doctor.

A novice athlete takes classes to master the basics of football skills:

Hitting techniques;

Basic technical techniques;

Range and power accuracy;

Techniques for handling the ball in motion.

In parallel, competitive elements are conducted, as well as individual lessons, where there is an opportunity to acquire the right skills and eliminate technical and other deficiencies. The frequency of training depends on physical health, the abilities of the football player himself, the initial inclinations. The optimal initial frequency is 1-2 times a week. At the initial stage of training, a natural slight stretching of the muscles of the whole body occurs. Once you are in good physical shape, the intensity and frequency of your workouts can be increased.

Any work with the ball requires two important elementsphysical fitness and basic skills. Good football player- this is not someone who hits the ball hard and runs fast, but someone who is able to simultaneously master basic skills: proper handling of the ball (the ability to receive, handle, give a timely pass, shoot a free kick, use dribbling). Well, most importantly, he must understand the tactical and strategic objectives of the football game.
