The most mysterious athlete: we analyze the style of Alina Kabaeva. Alina Kabaeva - absolute champion

The girl’s mother Lyubov Kabaeva played in the Uzbekistan basketball team, and her father Marat Kabaev played for football team"Pakhtakor". Alina grew up in conditions of constant parental training and camps. Contrary to everyone’s opinion, the girl herself chose a career as an athlete; her mother and father did not force their daughter to follow in their footsteps.

However, initially the parents saw their daughter as a professional figure skater; later it was decided to bet on rhythmic gymnastics. All because of strong schools figure skating there was none in the republic. Alina Kabaeva started doing gymnastics at the age of 3.5. Anelia Malkina and Lyudmila Nikitina began teaching the girl the basics of sportsmanship.

At the age of 12, Alina’s mother took her to Moscow because she realized that she would not be able to fully reveal her daughter’s talent in Tashkent. In the capital, the future champion began to study under the guidance of the famous coach Irina Viner.

The beginning of Alina Kabaeva's sports career

As Alina Kabaeva herself recalls, as soon as the coach of the Russian rhythmic gymnastics team looked at the girl, there was horror in her eyes. It was necessary to work and work with the young athlete, but first Alina herself had to urgently get rid of excess weight. The latter was also noted by the gymnast’s previous coaches, and, jokingly, they even called her a “TV on legs.” Irina Viner put her ward on a strict diet. The future celebrity ate practically nothing - she only drank mineral water. However, the results were not long in coming.

“At first, the coach constantly scared me that if I didn’t reset overweight, then she will take a syringe and suck out the excess fat. Jokes aside, I had to work on myself more than others. I went on a strict diet, and after a few months I was hard to recognize. I became slim and fell in love with gymnastics even more!” recalls Alina Kabaeva.

The talented coach immediately saw the talent of her student and began to prepare her for the big and promising career. Wiener's hopes were soon realized. In 1996, Alina Kabaeva joined the national team and prestigious titles fell one after another.

Alina Kabaeva - absolute champion

Alina Kabaeva became the only four-time European champion in the history of rhythmic gymnastics. She received her last title in Spain, and for the first time became European champion in Portugal.

By the way, the gymnast considers Japan the happiest country. It was there that the girl became two-time champion world and for the first time absolute champion. Spain will forever remain in the memory of the athlete. In 2000 in Zaragoza and in 2002 in Granada, Alina received the title of absolute European champion, and in 2001 in Madrid, Kabaeva received another title of absolute world champion.

“My parents were very happy about my victories. Dad reacted to victories as if they were his own. He was very happy, proud and repeated: “My daughter is the smartest, the most talented, the most beautiful.” My achievements brought even greater joy to my mother, who saw that her work was not in vain. For every parent, their child is, of course, the best. But when I came to Tashkent, I did not hear the words: “There goes the famous gymnast.” They said and, by the way, still say: “The daughter of football player Kabaev is coming.”

Dad was a very famous football player in his time. I really loved sitting at matches, I got goosebumps when he scored a goal and the stadium exploded. He did it beautifully. To many of our famous football players there would be a lot to learn from him. This is true,” says Kabaeva.

Sydney Olympics - Kabaeva fiasco

In 2000 at Olympic Games in Sydney, fans were almost sure that Alina Kabaeva would become the first. However, the hopes of fans and the gymnast herself were not justified. This time the girl became only the third. At a competition in Australia, the athlete dropped her hoop in the very finals, and as a result, the victory went to Yulia Barsukova.

Doping scandal with Alina Kabaeva

Another failure awaited in 2001. Alina Kabaeva and Irina Chashchina were caught using furosemide. A scandal broke out and the girls were disqualified for two years for doping. As punishment, the athletes were deprived of all awards from the Goodwill Games, as well as the 2001 World Championships. In the coming year, gymnasts were prohibited from participating in any competitions. The second year of exile was given conditionally, athletes could participate in tournaments, but under the strictest control.

It is worth noting that the substance furosemide itself is not doping, but is used to remove prohibited substances from the body. sports doping. After the incident, there were rumors that the coach allegedly offered Kabaeva a dietary supplement that contained the same furosemide.

Revolution named after Kabaeva

Meanwhile, Alina Kabaeva became the only gymnast in the world whose name was included in the Guinness Book of Records. At the age of 15, the girl became the absolute champion of Europe, and among adult athletes. By the way, Kabaeva, in particular, brought revolutionary changes to rhythmic gymnastics in the 90s of the last century.

Alina Kabaeva - movie star

The gymnast showed her talent in films. The girl, in particular, starred as a ninja in the Japanese film “Red Shadow”. In addition, the girl repeatedly starred in commercials, and then in the video for the song about herself by the group “Word Play”, and also participated in modeling shows.

And during the disqualification, the girl found herself a thematic occupation on television. On the 7 TV channel, Alina hosted the weekly program “Empire of Sports.”

Alina Kabaeva - gymnast-politician

The gymnast became politically active in 2001. The 18-year-old girl not only started voting, but was also elected. Until 2005, the gymnast was a member of the Supreme Council of the United Russia party. The next two years, Alina Kabaeva became a member of the Public Chamber Russian Federation on the development of charity, mercy and volunteering. There, the gymnast solved the problems of insurance for athletes. The next step in political career Alina became The State Duma fifth convocation. The girl was elected as a parliamentarian from the United Russia party on December 2, 2007. There, the gymnast works as deputy chairman of the youth affairs committee.

The successful athlete and politician decided not to stop there. In the summer of 2008, the girl began hosting her own weekly program on REN TV, “Steps to Success.” Guests of the celebrity were famous Russian athletes, actors, singers and politicians who talked about how they achieved success.

By the way, Alina Kabaeva entered the top ten beautiful women modern Russia. And in parallel with the active political and sports work girl got two higher education. In 2007, the gymnast received a diploma from the Moscow State University of Service, and two years later she graduated from St. Petersburg State University physical culture named after P.F. Lesgafta. Sports career the gymnast completed in 2007.

Personal life of Alina Kabaeva

In April 2008, the Moscow Correspondent newspaper published an article about the upcoming wedding of Alina Kabaeva with Vladimir Putin. The news instantly spread throughout Russia and European countries. The publications caused a huge resonance and a loud scandal. Meanwhile, Alina's representatives refused to comment on the news and demanded to write a refutation.

And Vladimir Putin said that there is not a word of truth in the words of the journalists. Information immediately appeared about the closure of the newspaper as an unprofitable publication.

In mid-2013, the country was shocked by another event - the announcement of the divorce of the head of the country. Vladimir Putin has been married to his wife for 30 years. After this, gossip about the relationship between the president and the gymnast flared up with renewed vigor.

At the end of September 2013, information appeared that Vladimir Putin and Alina Kabaeva were married in the Iversky Monastery in Valdai. But again, the presidential press service denied this news.

Soon information appeared in the press that Alina Kabaeva became a mother. The father of the child, according to media reports, is Vladimir Putin, and he was named Dima, in honor of Dmitry Medvedev. But the “announced parents” deny this information. Later Kabaeva stated that this was not her son, but her nephew. But rumors continue to live in Russian media. At the end of 2012, information appeared that the gymnast gave birth to Vladimir Vladimirovich’s second child, this time a girl. After some time, Alina gave an interview in which she denied the presence of pregnancies and children.

Alina Kabaeva now

In May 2019, some media reported that Alina Kabaeva became a mother. According to insider information, former gymnast she gave birth not abroad and not in a clinic popular among Russian elites in Lapino, near Moscow, but in the capital’s center of obstetrics and gynecology named after Kulakov. Allegedly, Kabaeva’s room, located on the 4th floor, had bodyguards on duty around the clock, and the remaining patients on the floor had to be moved to other rooms. According to the source, Kabaeva gave birth to twins, but the gender, names and other parameters of the newborns, like the name of their father, are kept strictly secret.

However, the information was soon refuted: during this period, Kabaeva’s namesake, the star of “House-2” Alexandra Kabaeva, was in the center. She gave birth to one child, whom she almost lost. However, clients of the hospital said that in April the premises were indeed inspected by suspicious people in civilian clothes and with headphones, and the floor was cleared of other patients. It is unlikely that the center’s management would take such a step for the sake of the Dom-2 star.

Alina Kabaeva

SPLETNIK.RU continues to study the outfits of Russian women politicians and public figures. Today we invite you to talk about the style of Alina Kabaeva, a former State Duma deputy and one of the most famous athletes in the country.

By the way, only the day before yesterday Kabaeva “lit up” on the TV screen for the last time: the gymnast arrived at the polling station to vote, where television cameras captured her. Alina was dressed strictly - in a laconic gray coat with fur trim on the sleeves combined with a burgundy turtleneck. Blogger boo_10 shared the video with us.

Gymnastics sex symbol

Alina Kabaeva is as popular as she is mysterious. She appears in the world quite rarely, so each of her appearances becomes an event for the press. There are myths and legends about the personal life of the 34-year-old celebrity. And Kabaeva has been considered one of the most beautiful Russian athletes for many years.

Are there many girls in the sports world to whom songs are dedicated? You, of course, remember the first and main hit of the group “Play of Words,” named after Kabaeva. “I, as an artist, paint a perfect picture, I draw Kabaeva Alina for you,” read the lyrics of the song. The authors of the composition, soloists of the group Andrei Semashko and Stas Rublev, claim that the gymnast became the heroine of their hit by accident:

It was not the love of two maniacs or fans artistic gymnastics. Alina is not just a beautiful and attractive girl, we respect her achievements. We didn't have any kind of personality draw, her name just came up, and right after it, the song.

Kabaeva agreed to star in the musicians’ video and, indeed, was very good in it.

By the way, the outfit in which the athlete appears at the beginning of the video generally illustrates her fashion preferences well. A glittery down jacket, skinny jeans, a black sweater—traditional casual for her.

For social events and official events, Alina has since then preferred something as feminine and eye-catching as possible.

Expensive and rich

Lace, floral motifs, frills, sequins, gold and silver decor - Kabaeva loves and knows how to wear all this. However, there were cases when the love of everything flashy let the athlete down. At such moments, gossips often blame Kabaeva’s mentor Irina Viner-Usmanova, a well-known fan of massive jewelry, lace and ruffles, for the “bad influence.”

To be fair, we note that Alina Kabaeva doesn’t have many obvious fashion failures, although they do happen. The most controversial of her images, perhaps, turned out to be the one in which she arrived two years ago to film the program “ Evening Urgant" It would seem that the celebrity chose a classic that is hard to go wrong with: black, a pencil skirt combined with a blouse, red lipstick and laconic hairstyle. However, there was a storm of discussion on social networks regarding the appropriateness transparent blouse on air on the country's main channel. What made the situation worse was that under the black fabric a white top with straps was visible (by the way, not underwear, but a part of the same Dolce&Gabbana blouse). But the public did not really understand the creative ideas of the Italian designer duo, so one of the most frequent comments on the networks was: “I could at least wear black lingerie!”

Fashionable changes

In general, black color has always been loved by our heroine along with other classic ones - white, red, and now she chooses it even more often than before.

Lately, Kabaeva rarely experiments with colors and styles, preferring universal options, and, in our opinion, the classic suits her very well. For example, trouser suits, in which the celebrity has appeared more than once at events over the past few months, undoubtedly adorn her.

If in previous years outfits of varying degrees of extravagance appeared in Kabaeva’s wardrobe every now and then, now her style is becoming more calm - perhaps not without the help of professionals.

Alas, it is impossible to draw any far-reaching conclusions about the star’s wardrobe and her taste preferences no - Alina Kabaeva, as we have already said, very rarely appears in public. Let's hope that in the next six years the situation will change and we will often see the beauty in the world.

And that's enough!

Alina Zagitova did not become world champion. And this – and only this – is a statement of fact. Nothing more. And all other information or speculation - she couldn’t cope without Medvedeva, she grew three centimeters in a month after the Olympic Games and lost coordination, she will never rise again, like Yulia Lipnitskaya - let them remain on the conscience of those speaking. The result in sports is here and now. In Milan, Alina took fifth place. And even with this, together with Maria Sotskova (eighth place), having scored a total of 13 points with her, she was able to maintain the full quota for Russian figure skaters for the next year. I saved it for myself. You just need to rest.

She cries after the skate, in which she suffered three falls and received four penalty points (one point is deducted for the first two falls, two points are deducted for the third). And at this moment I really want to protect her. Because even those who longed to see Olympic champion Zhenya Medvedeva (not out of malice at all towards the wonderful Alina, but simply due to the fact that, rooting for the wonderful Evgenia last years, many times virtually pressed her to his chest as if he were his own), they have already become attached to Zagitova. A fighter with a smile. Fiery and confident. At the main starts of the season, she did not allow anyone to doubt herself. The ability to win is also a talent. And no one will deny Alina this talent, as well as her phenomenal abilities. Furious pressure, smile, pressure again... Yes, if she was destined to lose, then, of course, it should not have been so shocking.

Only... After all, she wouldn’t have lost any other way. Either this way - with three falls, or - nothing at all. Even with a disastrous box office performance, Alina was in free program seventh. What if she only fell once?

Yes, for the first time since 2014, Russian women did not win a medal at the World Championships. In 2014, Yulia Lipnitskaya won silver, in 2015 Elizaveta Tuktamysheva won gold, Elena Radionova was third, in 2016 Evgenia Medvedeva won gold, Anna Pogorilaya won bronze, in 2017 Evgenia Medvedeva won gold again. And for the first time since 1973, a Canadian woman wins the World Championship. Karen Magnussen received a successor only 45 years later (!) - the bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang Kathleen Osmond won gold in Milan. She rightfully won – having skated her program almost flawlessly. Yes, to her, who was in fourth place after short program, managed to win because both Zagitova and Carolina Kostner made mistakes (the hostess of the ice was also left without a pedestal, fourth place). But this is what happens in sports – victory is fueled by the defeats of others.

Alina lost the world championship. Now there is no need to ask the belated question: should she have gone to Milan at all? After everything that happened before Penchang, during the Games and after them? Actually, we have a long bench of reserve and titled skaters: Tuktamysheva, Radionova, Gubanova, Tsurskaya... Of course, we haven’t seen them since the Russian Championships. But at least some of those listed were probably ready for the last tournament of the season? Thirteen points for two is not God knows what a terrible figure, even if they would have done without medals. After all, they got by now?

But the ambitions of the winners forced them to choose a different path: one of the two brilliant figure skaters - either the gold or silver medalist of Pyeongchang - should be in Milan. According to official reports, confirmed by the athlete herself, Evgenia Medvedeva could not do this - a doctor’s ban in the name of the future. (The other day Evgenia announced that she was going to demonstration performances to Japan - the program was compiled without those prohibited by doctors due to high loads jumps and spins). So Alina remained. No right to pass.

Now we just have to survive the World Cup in Milan. Famous commanders also had to lose major battles. Sometimes they retreated deliberately - in the name of the future. Some of the “good people” were already starting to sound the alarm after Pyeongchang: would they find Zagitova, having received gold at the Olympic Games (at that time they also assumed the World Championship), the European Championship, the Grand Prix final, that is, having won all the competitions in her debut season? , motivation for further work? (Just think: Alina, starting from the end of 2016, won 13 starts!) Consciously, like commanders, Zagitova, of course, could not lose. So, we will assume that fate itself gave her motivation for the future. And this too – in the name of the future.

And you can really only regret one thing here: that Alina did not have time to enjoy her victory at the Olympic Games. This is the coincidence of circumstances. At first, I was always in the shadow of the silver Evgenia Medvedeva. Then - endless celebrations and meetings. It’s impossible without them, and it’s impossible with them – preparation for the World Cup is very doubtful.

But Zagitova arrived from Pyeongchang with a fever. Athletes are no strangers to extreme sports. But when we talk about competitions, we have the right to be tough: a member of the Olympic team is not a child, but a professional. And when the president of the country meets you, when you are torn with the same questions at press conferences, when you are forced to show your apartment (the last place where you could hide from prying eyes) to foreigners, because you no longer have the right to refuse the rank of Olympic champion? That’s when a member of the Olympic team, even an Olympic champion, is overcome by natural fatigue. In Alina’s case, it’s the adult fatigue of a teenage body. And then the slightest glitch in the program can lead to confusion.

After the shock performance, many experts will agree that Alina did not expect her first, purely technical error on the Lutz. And then it was like a train going downhill: she simply didn’t understand what to do. Because even before the start I was knocked out of my usual training schedule. That accumulated inertia, behind which stands the greatest concentration that prevents making mistakes, was torn to shreds. And it makes it possible to quickly navigate what happened (remember how Alina in Pyeongchang coped with her own mistake: without doing a cascade at the beginning of the program, she repeated it at the end?).

This concentration was not enough. Alina did not have time to “return to herself” after the fall. And the jumps in the second part of the program inexorably followed one after another...

Russia has not lost its quotas. Just as Alina Zagitova has not lost and will never lose the title of Olympic champion. Clever, talented, beautiful Alina cried out for Milan’s grief on the chest of coach Eteri Tutberidze. We should have seen this too. Only crying with the Olympic champion - and even more so “instead” of her, predicting an inevitable collapse in the future - does not make any sense. It’s indecent, unfair, and not sportsmanlike. Alina Zagitova told everything about herself in Pyeongchang 2018. And she will also choose her future life for herself.
