Origin of the myth

Myth theory

One of the real-life types of non-contact hand-to-hand combat can be considered influencing the enemy with a voice. Despite my almost complete religious education when it comes to martial arts, I always refrain from mysticism and therefore follow the principle of “if I don’t see, I don’t believe.” And even better - until I spar, I won’t believe it. I was lucky that in the period from 1988 to 1998 I had the opportunity to see a lot of fighters, train in various sections and schools of hand-to-hand combat, incl. and in the section of Tadeusz Kasyanov, who played the role of boatswain in the famous film “Pirates of the 20th Century”. I saw different fighters and heard different tales, but I never saw the real application of non-contact combat. Neither in civilian life, nor during military service.
Supporters of the version that non-contact combat exists and is practiced appeal with numerous video recordings. However demonstration performances modern, incl. Russian fighters have huge doubts about the reality of what is happening. One of the few credible ones are recordings of speeches by the founder of aikido, Morihei Ueshiba. The aikido master has repeatedly demonstrated how men of different heights and different weights, karatekas, judokas, flew away from one of his swings. And he never refused to demonstrate his art.

Reliable can be considered evidence of the ability to hit an enemy without making contact, the creator of modern judo Jigaro Kano, as well as Sun Lutang (Sun Fuquan) - one of the greatest masters in the entire history of Chinese Wushu and a number of other Chinese specialists, whose names will say little to the Stavropol to the reader.
There are several reasons to trust these masters. Firstly, they devoted their entire lives to understanding martial arts. Secondly, they all emphasized the development and management of internal energy. Thirdly, each of them carried out real life-and-death struggles in life.

Naturally, being interested in such things, I myself repeatedly began to study various internal styles, methods of controlling internal energy and the possibility of defeating an enemy at a distance. Opponents, even physically much stronger ones, get tired much faster. During the period of intensive training, the movements become an order of magnitude faster, a certain warmth and heaviness is felt in the palms of the hands, which is transferred at the moment of contact with the opponent and he loses his balance externally from gentle pushes. However, in a real fight, I’m unlikely to trust my internal styles, much less my experience in non-contact combat, and I’ll wait until a bully on the street punches me in the jaw. Most likely, I myself will deliver some kind of “dirty” signature blow - for example, with a foot in the knee area or with a fist hitting the outstretched fingers or outside brushes Or I'll try to knock out my elbow. Believe me - it is very painful and effective. If not a fracture, then a strong painful shock is guaranteed. And most importantly - very unexpected.
Nevertheless, the exercises that the great masters practiced gave quite concrete results, albeit on a different plane. Firstly, reducing the time needed for sleep to 5-6 hours. Secondly, the ability to concentrate. By studying, you will be less distracted by various temptations. I would compare this effect with the smart work of prayer that monks do every second. Consciousness moves along the shortest path to the chosen goal and is not distracted by interference.
Thirdly, the ability to unconsciously predict the situation and a more holistic perception of the world. Sometimes it will seem to you that you are a prophet within five minutes. But in reality it's more effective work brain In addition, you will read information from the surrounding space, incl. and that which is not perceived by the senses. This effect will expand your creativity, regardless of what you do - business, administrative work or journalism.
Fourthly, not only improve your health, but also the ability to help other people. Managing internal energy at first requires certain knowledge of how the energy “qi” flows inside the body, but with practice, you yourself begin to comprehend the laws of its movement. And if necessary, you can alleviate the condition of strangers in a couple of minutes and greatly reduce or eliminate altogether, for example, a headache or toothache. Or treat diseases. By the way, practicing martial internal styles, or health-improving forms of qigong and tai chi, practically guarantees getting rid of such a very common and painful problem as migraine, which modern medicine has never learned to fully cope with.
Fifthly, it has become easier to communicate with people and get in touch. Sometimes I caught myself thinking that I was on the verge of manipulating my interlocutor. This effect was quite successfully implemented in journalism and in one of my main activities in the recent past - I worked on elections, developed strategies for election campaigns, created campaign materials, videos, etc. But, I hope, I’m done with elections.

Where to begin? First steps
The key to mastering non-contact combat is good health and accumulation of internal energy. Only in a healthy body can internal energy accumulate and be directed to an external source. Therefore, first, you will work to restore health and cure diseases. Classes along with other activities (herbal medicine, taking bee products, diet, restoration of intestinal flora, etc.) will significantly improve your condition in a few months. The stronger half, including male abilities, will increase sharply.
The second stage is the possibility of consciousness reaching a borderline state. Thanks to this, you will achieve a number of the effects described above.
The third step is the ability to concentrate. During training, you should concentrate on your physical energy sensations - how your hand moves, how energy flows, what you feel around you. First at rest, and then in motion.
As for the actual exercises and time for training. At first, any internal styles will suit you, as well as a simple complex breathing exercises and plus training in the “standing up” skill. Tai chi, bagua and some types of qigong are especially effective.
Ideally, the more you do, the better. But in practice, the effect will be even from morning exercises lasting an hour and a half. It is advisable to add evening or daytime training to them. If classes are only in the morning, then 40-45 minutes should be allocated for breathing and standing.
In general, standing like a pillar is one of the best exercises preparatory stage. Therefore, I will dwell on it in more detail. You don't have to get into a classic tai chi or bagua pose. Stand straight, feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent. The body is relaxed, hands in front of you, in elbow joint bent more than 90 degrees. Also bend at the wrist joint. The palms are half open, the fingers are spread and look towards each other. It's like you're holding a ball in front of you. The tip of the tongue is pressed against the upper palate. Breathing is even and quiet. Wait for 10 minutes, listen to the sensations. Could you? and 20 minutes? Try not to think about anything extraneous. This is concentration in peace, you master the inner consciousness. Movement requires even more concentration, because you are not only doing exercises, but also assessing the surrounding situation from an energetic point of view. This is much more difficult than waving your arms.
These recommendations will be enough for you for the first months, and then fate and your body will tell you where to go next. Of course, it is best to master these things with an instructor, but people with an open soul have access to all the secrets of this world. You just have to want it.

One big, small “but”
Comprehension at advanced stages of controlling one's own, as well as an opponent's, energy and consciousness requires not only time and perseverance, but one very serious limitation - limiting the number of sexual contacts, especially those ending in ejaculation. Without going too much into theory, we can say that there are two reasons for this. Firstly, energy consumption. The Taoists, who laid the foundation for internal styles, believed that sexual intercourse takes away internal energy. An overly active sex life along with exercise will undermine your health instead of strengthening it. Of course, there is a way out, such as practicing the “Tao of Love,” but this is a completely different topic. The second reason is a peculiar restructuring of consciousness. A person in whose mind sexual instincts are suppressed and consciously controlled thinks completely differently. He becomes less aggressive.
This position is held not only by methods of combat use of energy and consciousness, but also by other spiritual and physical practices. For example, Christianity. It's no secret that Orthodox monks and Catholic priests adhere to a vow of celibacy. The fathers of the Christian Church, numerous saints who performed miracles much more incomprehensible than the skills of martial artists, also adhered to celibacy. It’s probably hard to find a martial arts fan who hasn’t seen that famous TV report about the demonstration of Russian non-contact combat before the American military delegation. When a tall, thin GRU officer first showed on camera the secret knowledge of Soviet intelligence officers.

All the spectators were simply stunned: it turns out that without touching, almost with the power of thought alone, you can make the enemy lose control of his consciousness and fall, as if he had been hit by an invisible force. Nobody believed their eyes. The videos were viewed hundreds of thousands of times in search of a catch. But, never finding the deception, they fell in love with the valiant warrior from the screen, who opened the world to a new understanding of what a person is and what he really can do. I won’t lie, I immediately eagerly immersed myself in the material and looked through everything that could be found on the Internet. Having decided that as soon as I succeed, I will definitely try to get training with A.L. himself. Lavrov. But time played hide and seek with me and hid itself very thoroughly. Until suddenly, the head of the “Human Center” project, Natalya Zaitseva - a person who deserves a separate article - invited me to a seminar about whom fans of hand-to-hand combat create legends.

Alexander Leonidovich brought to Minsk a program for training civilians using the system of his SHKVAL survival school. Of course, I canceled everything and these two days of the seminar gave me so many answers that, in my opinion, now I know how a revolution of consciousness occurs - as if the ceiling and floor changed places, and you, like Alice, fell somewhere in the country miracles where there is no size, no time, no logic.

The training system is based on army hand-to-hand combat, but this is external. A good “fit” is needed not only to keep the body in order, but also to “develop the brain,” as Alexander Leonidovich notes. There is a hidden part of the SHKVAL system, psychological, and it is especially impressive. I will try to describe what I understood in my own words.

A person has a subconscious that knows everything and even the future, and there is also a consciousness that does not know the future, but can assume it based on data from memory or from the analysis of signals coming from the depths of the subconscious.
