  3. Turn your gaze to the left side, continuing to draw an imaginary line in the same direction (passing in the left ear), then do the same manipulation, “looking” to the right side (the line passes in the right ear).
  4. The next exercise is called “Butterfly”. When you begin to perform it, keep your head motionless, the movement will be made only with your eyes. Avoid the possibility of overstraining the eye muscles. The eyes should perform the following actions: abducting and focusing the eyes in the lower left corner, then in the upper right corner. Then it’s the other way around: your gaze fixes on the lower right corner, then on the upper left corner.
  5. The author called this exercise “Eight”. Its essence is to “draw” with your eyes an inverted horizontal figure eight. Open your eyes wide, imagine the number 8 as large as possible in order to “draw” it from one angle of vision to another. When you have finished performing the action, close your eyes, thereby relaxing tense muscles, then blink frequently.
  6. The exercise is a good training for the development of peripheral (side) vision. Take your starting position in a secluded, quiet place. Bring both eyes together, fixing them on the tip of the nose. You can do this gradually by placing your index finger in front of your face and concentrating on it. Smoothly start moving your finger towards the tip of your nose, following your fingers with your gaze. Relax eye muscles, looking forward and fixing the lateral elements with vision (the eyes remain motionless). Subsequent repetitions should alternate: looking away to the tip of the nose - relaxation, looking forward - fixing peripheral vision, with motionless eyes. Next, move upward along the nose and the first point of concentration will already be on the bridge of the nose, the rest of the movements are the same - look in front of you and fixate your lateral vision. The final stage is a concentrated look at the area between the eyebrows, then - in front of you and fixation of lateral vision.
  7. Place your index fingers on your nose and focus on them. When spreading your arms to the sides, look away following the fingers according to the principle: finger right hand- right eye, left hand - left. There is no need to try to move your eyes apart, just follow the movement of your hands with your peripheral vision. Take a short break between repetitions to avoid overstraining the eye muscles.
  8. The final exercise is called the “Big Circle”. Move your eyes as if repeating the outline of a circle. It is proposed to represent the dial of a mechanical watch as a circle. First, move your eyes in a clockwise direction, mentally focusing on the numbers. Then do the same manipulation, only against the clock hand. When moving your eyes, you must maintain a clear circle. Start with a small circle and gradually increase its size.

Important! The transitions between each stage of the exercise should be very smooth. To relieve tension from the eye muscles, it is recommended to take a break in the form of frequent blinking.

Both methods are suitable for training, but using a table according to Norbekov, this activity will be much more exciting. For the eyes of small patients, other types of tables are created, on which various animals are drawn.

Based on Norbekov’s book, you need to train according to this scheme.

  1. If you have farsightedness, the table should be placed at a distance of no more than fifteen centimeters from the eyes.
  2. For myopia, the table is placed at arm's length, but it should not be less than thirty centimeters.
  3. If problems with visual function are observed in only one eye, then the healthy eye should be covered with a bandage or hand.
  4. If one eye is farsighted and the other suffers from myopia, then training should be done alternately.
  5. After this, you need to take the table in your hands and check your posture. It’s worth looking at it as if fleetingly, without trying to look at it.
  6. When looking through the table, reading starts from the top line and then down to determine which line will become working. The working line is the one after which the rest of the letters become blurry. Once the patient has found the right line, it is necessary to lift his mood a little, after which the patient will notice glimpses of the next line. So, each time we move down.

Now spread your fingers to the side. In this case, the left eye should follow the finger of the left hand. And the right eye also accordingly. You need to do the exercise two or three times. The exercises developed by Norbnkov involve going through three main stages. The first involves performing gymnastics with your eyes open. The second stage is to perform the exercises with your eyes closed. And the third is aimed at completing the entire complex with the help of thoughts.

  5. With a straight posture, after blinking well, you need to squint your eyes as far as possible towards your nose. Focusing the main gaze on the nose, peripheral vision should be concentrated on objects located on the sides. This is easier to do than it seems. After spending about a minute in this state, you need to direct your gaze forward, then squint your eyes again, but not to the tip of the nose, but to its middle, after which the gaze again goes forward and finally the eyes squint, but in the direction of the point between the eyebrows. This exercise, which strengthens the oblique muscles of the eyes, must be repeated seven times.

Once you get used to these exercises, you can do a little of them “modify”, performing first with open and then with closed eyes.

The final stage of such gymnastics should be a massage of certain points on the face:

  • the junction of the eyebrows;
  • wings of the nose;
  • depression under the lower lip;
  • whiskey;
  • the point above the forehead from which the hair begins.

Return your eyes to their original position - look ahead. Now lower your eyes down and feel that your gaze has passed through your throat: as if you were examining your own throat from the inside. Return your gaze to the starting point.

Slowly turn your eyeballs, first towards one ear, then towards the other ear. In this case, there should be a feeling that you are looking through the ear or examining it from the inside. You cannot move your head or help with head movements - only your eyes work.

The goal of the exercise is to draw geometric shapes with your eyes without moving your head. First, draw a diagonal line with your eyes: connect the lower right corner of the room with the upper left. Lower your eyes down and connect the lower left corner with the upper right corner with a line, lower your eyes down. You should get a schematic figure of a butterfly: two triangles with a common point in the center. After completing the exercise, blink your eyes at a fast pace without tension.

Draw an infinity sign (an inverted number 8) first in one direction, then in the opposite direction. The head remains motionless. Then blink your eyes at a fast pace to relax.

The purpose of this practice is to strengthen the oblique eye muscles. Concentrate your gaze on the tip of your own nose, then slowly move it into the distance. Looking in front of you, you need to try to see objects from the left and right sides with your peripheral vision - do not move your head and eyes. Do this 8 times in a row.

Ex. No. 6

Place the tips of the index fingers of your left and right hands on the tip of your nose. Slowly spread your arms out to the sides, keeping both fingers in your attention. In this case, peripheral vision is involved. The right eye watches the movement of the finger of the right hand, the left eye watches the movement of the left hand. Do this 3 times.

Imagine a watch dial in front of you and move your gaze from number to number, moving in a circle - first along the direction of the sun (to the right), then against the direction - to the left. Each time, increase the diameter of the imaginary dial. Then do the exercise, concentrating your gaze on the sky.

After this technique has been mastered, the exercise is performed in the following sequence:

  • fixation of gaze on the tip of the nose;
  • moving your gaze forward, slowly;
  • fixation of objects located on the sides with motionless eyes;
  • fixation of the gaze on the bridge of the nose, then again slowly forward, and an attempt to examine the surrounding environment without moving the eyes;
  • the same thing, but with the initial fixation of the gaze on the bridge of the nose.

Exercise 6. Bring the index fingers of both hands to the tip of the nose, concentrate your gaze on the fingers and slowly spread your fingers to the sides, trying to follow with each eye the corresponding finger of the hand, i.e. lateral vision. Repeat 2-3 times, then relax your eyes, blinking 10-20 times.

Exercise 7. "Big Circle" Fix your head in a stationary position and maintain it throughout the exercise. Imagine a large dial painted in golden color before your eyes. Circle the outline of the clock with your eyes, fixing each number with your gaze, performing movements in two opposite directions. The outline of the imaginary dial should be smooth and gradually increase in diameter. Repeat the exercise several times.

  • Quickly squeeze and unclench your eyelids.

All exercises should be repeated at least 6 times, after completing each exercise, relax your eyes by blinking frequently without squeezing your eyelids:

  • Alternately draw imaginary lines with your eyes up and down, and then left and right, as if drawing a cross.
  • Outline an imaginary regular circle with your eyes.

  5. Lower your eyes down, move them to the right, then up, left and down, repeating the circle 3 times. Then raise your eyes and look strictly to the right for a while. Perform the exercise in the other direction 3 times as well.
  6. Blink your eyes frequently, without squinting, for 2 minutes.
  7. Lightly stroke the eyelids with your fingertips.

At the end of the complex you should sit with your eyes closed for 3-5 minutes.

For this useful procedure, take a wide basin, which is filled with cold water. For additional cooling, you can add a couple of ice cubes to the water.
