    Introduction

In 2017, our main secondary school No. 7 will turn 80 years old. During this time, the school graduated more than 10 thousand Chusovites, 181 people graduated from the school with gold and silver medals. Today, school No. 7 occupies a very significant place in the educational space of the city of Chusovoy and enjoys well-deserved authority among its residents.

The school is proud of its graduates, among whom are world-class athletes. In our school museum there is a stand “Oh sport! You are the world! 15 athletes from our school are represented at the stand. After analyzing the stand, we realized that for 80 years the school can be proud of a large number of sports heroes. We decided to find new names, meet with athletes, find out their stories, systematize our material, and track the achievements of school students over the past three years.

Analyzing the materials of the school museum, we realized that 80% of all our school athletes are pupils of the Ogonyok Sports School. 15% of the school’s athletes trained at the Metallurg sports complex, attended volleyball and basketball sections, 3% went in for cross-country skiing at the Metallurg ski base, and 2% went in for swimming and football.

Technological progress frightens us with its scale and speed. In the world of sports, technologies are changing and new sports are emerging. Unfortunately, time cannot be stopped or slowed down. And we, the students and teachers of school No. 7, are pleased to know that again and again Chusovo athletes rise to the podium of World Sports.

3. Sports at our school

The current students of the school are also a worthy replacement for the athletes who graduated from school No. 7. Under the guidance of physical education teachers Tatyana Vladimirovna Guseva and Irina Nikolaevna Cherepanova, students annually participate in the “Cross of Nations”. The school team has repeatedly become a winner in pioneer ball, mini-football, and city basketball competitions.

Oleg Leonidovich Konoplev successfully prepares young athletes for the Chusovoy schoolchildren’s sports competitions, as well as for the autumn cross-country. Svetlana Leonidovna Startseva and Anastasia Nikolaevna Nikulina raised an excellent school team of football players who annually participate in the district mini-football championship “Golden Autumn”. Young football players hold football matches for the “Leather Ball” prize.

Today's athletes of school No. 7

School athletes always take part in the relay race for the prize of the Chusovskoy Rabochy newspaper, in the spring track and field cross-country race. An interesting innovation for Chusovoy athletes in 2005 was the festival of street basketball (streetball) “IES Basket”. Now the school’s basketball and volleyball teams are coached by Tatyana Aleksandrovna Zhilyak.

And the team of young men under the leadership of Andrei Yuryevich Suntsev more than once took prizes in the regional game “Zarnitsa” and the naval game “Sea Devils”. Perhaps in 5 years, on the next anniversary of the school, we will hear new names of graduates of school No. 7 in big sport. And they will remember with gratitude those who instilled in them a love of sports and nurtured their sportsmanship.

In the process of research, we familiarized ourselves with information about the employment of students in our school after school hours for three last year from 2014 – 2017 academic year. years.

Analyzing the table data, we concluded that the employment of school students in the sports sections of our city increased from 31 to 33%.

This fact inspires optimism, and perhaps in the next academic year The percentage of children and teenagers in our school who go in for sports will increase, since a new sports and fitness complex has opened in the city, and children can practice swimming, football, hand-to-hand combat and tennis there.

4. Conclusion

This year the sporting glory of our city traditionally went beyond Russia. Tatyana Ivanova, Elizaveta Bezgodova, Alexander Smyshlyaev - these names sounded brightly in this winter season at the World Sports Arenas. Our city is proud of its fellow countrymen, with some of them we, young researchers School No. 7 keeps in touch.

Athletes - students of the school do not lag behind their predecessors - graduates - athletes. The number of students at secondary school No. 7 attending sports sections is growing year by year. Over the past three years, there has been a tendency towards an increase in the number of prizes in city, regional and regional competitions in various types sports. A new shift of “Ogonkovites” is growing up at our school, we are continuing the glorious traditions of our graduates!
