Aerobics for children from 3 years old. The child and the children's aerobics program: a set of exercises

Warm-up in kindergarten and physical education at school are, of course, good, but not enough to form a physically healthy child. Few teachers devote time to developing a special program Special attention, trying to tailor the lesson to each student. As for sports sections, they are not suitable for everyone, since they have a narrow age range and target orientation, and accept children of the appropriate level physical training.

The best option is children's fitness, the features and advantages of which we will talk about in this article.

Children's fitness- these are complex sports activities that include aerobics, yoga, martial arts, choreography, swimming, posture exercises, with a skipping rope, as well as elements of gymnastics. This is the result of a mix aimed at overall development. The number of group members ranges from 10 to 15 people. Such fullness is optimal and allows the child not only to develop flexibility, dexterity, and strengthen the body, but also to receive a charge of positive emotions while interacting with other children.

Groups are formed according to age and physical abilities. There is the following division by age categories:

  • from 3 years to 6 years;
  • from 7 to 11 years old;
  • from 12 to 16 years old.

The duration of classes for children of the first category is set within 20-30 minutes, 2 times a week. Children in the middle category can already visit the fitness club 3 times with a “lesson” duration of 30 minutes. The older group is allowed to attend classes 3 times a week, exercise for 40 minutes a day and include exercise equipment in their training.

Why fitness is for children

Children really need fitness for several reasons:

  1. No need to win. Everyone is treated equally and rewarded equally. Winning is not valued as much as participation.
  2. Game form of classes. The training program is structured in such a way that children want to return to the walls of the fitness club, do the exercises and get exceptional pleasure from it.
  3. The ability to choose. The character of each child is individual. Some people won't like dancing, others won't like repetition exercises. Therefore, sports institutions give the child the opportunity to choose the direction and type of activities that will make up his program, after first allowing him to familiarize himself with each of the options.
  4. Safety. The likelihood of injury during training is reduced to zero. The instructor constantly monitors the children, and the exercises are selected especially carefully.
  5. Availability. The doors of a fitness club or dance school, which also conduct children's fitness classes, are open to all children over 3 years old. And the level of physical fitness does not play a role here, since fitness is designed to strengthen the kids.

A little about training

All sports organizations, which provide children's fitness services, provide visitors with the necessary equipment. In the first days, the instructor conducts familiarization and full instructions.

For schoolchildren, that is, children from 6 years old, new opportunities are opening up. Their training program includes new equipment - children's exercise equipment. At this age, the child is predisposed to develop flexibility, endurance, speed, strength and coordination. Therefore, special simulators will be most appropriate here. Training to work with them is mandatory.

All classes begin with a warm-up. At this stage, children are taught to walk in place, run, and squat. Next, variety is added to the training with dance exercises. They are needed to develop rhythm and ear for music in children. The main block focuses on strengthening the muscles of the legs, back, abs and arms.

Restrictions? Unfortunately…

Although children's fitness is designed to strengthen the child's body, the presence of certain pathologies requires approval to attend training sessions from a health professional. So, in case chronic diseases Before starting classes, you must consult with your doctor and trainer, develop and agree on a training program that will not worsen the situation, but will promote recovery. For example, asthma requires restrictions on aerobic exercise. Spinal problems will worsen if the child is overloaded strength exercises, but swimming and aerobics will improve his condition.

Children's fitness is a necessary thing in children's lives. Another thing is that not all families can afford to take their child to a fitness club. In this case, it would be advisable to practice at home.

To do this, just consult with a pediatrician and find video tutorials on performing a number of exercises for children with recommendations from trainers. The Internet is filled with educational reviews on the topic of children's fitness, so providing yourself with information will not be difficult.

The benefits of children's fitness

The decision to include children's fitness in a child's life will have extremely positive consequences. So, as a result of training:

  • children become more perseverant in school lessons, because all their accumulated energy is completely released during training;
  • develops attentiveness and coordination;
  • confidence in yourself and your abilities appears;
  • the muscle corset is strengthened, flexibility and mobility develop, which helps to avoid scoliosis and other problems with the musculoskeletal system;
  • strong immunity and healthy sleep are guaranteed.

And this is only part of the positive factors. The benefits of fitness for a child are difficult to overestimate. Therefore, feel free to hand over your child experienced trainer and rejoice in his success!

Modern parents are concerned about the health and comprehensive development of their baby.

It's no secret that properly selected physical activity is already early years have a positive effect on the formation of not only the child’s musculoskeletal system, but are also an integral part of the formation of his character.

Having decided that their child should play sports, parents are faced with a difficult choice: what type of training to prefer?

Recently, children's fitness has become increasingly popular - this is a relatively new sports area designed specifically for children.

Read more about the benefits of such classes and what are the specifics of training programs within this innovative industry.

The main positive features of fitness for children include:

  • Training does not last long and does not overload the child;
  • Aerobics for children involves group (including play) forms of work - accordingly, in addition to physical development, this makes it possible to develop a number of necessary communication skills in children;
  • The instructor always practices an individual approach to each student;
  • Gymnastics for children is the best choice if the child does not attend preschool and, against this background, experiences a lack of communication and physical activity;
  • During training, children develop many useful skills - in particular, flexibility, mobility, coordination, ability to behave in a team, agility, strength, etc.

Any fitness classes will certainly help normalize the child’s body weight, in addition, physical exercise are an excellent prevention of diseases of the cardiovascular system, scoliosis, and damage to the knee joints.

The main advantage of children's fitness is a wide range of activities and, accordingly, the presence of a main motive to engage in: the child's interest in this form of pastime.

How the training goes

Children's fitness for kids involves active activities in a playful way. Thus, children dance and perform simple physical exercises to specially selected songs from cartoons or classical music.

Modern fitness centers offer many options for children's training. Here are the most popular ones:

  • Logo aerobics. The essence of this direction is the combination of physical exercises with the recitation of poems and unrhymed phrases. The main goal of the classes is to develop coordination.
  • Step by step. At such trainings, instructors teach children to walk correctly, develop the ability to maintain body balance, and develop fine motor skills.
  • Fit Ball. Active physical exercises using large inflatable balls. Classes help develop the child’s musculoskeletal system.
  • Yoga for children. Training has a positive effect not only on physical development, but also on the emotional sphere of children.
  • Children's training in the pool. Swimming with elements of aqua aerobics. An excellent choice for hyperactive guys.

Classes intended for children aged 3 to 7 years should not last longer than half an hour. Training is carried out in specially equipped rooms with good ventilation and the absence of traumatic objects.

The frequency of visits to the gym depends on the age of the baby:

  • Children under three years old usually train no more than 1-2 times a week (30 minutes);
  • 3-6 year olds can study three times during the same period of time;
  • It is recommended that teenagers train the same amount, but the duration of their stay in gym increases from half an hour to 40-45 minutes.

Which form of fitness is best? Everything here is individual and depends on age. So, preschoolers are more suitable for dance and play activities, but for primary and secondary school students, more complex ones should be selected training programs, think through physical exercises that purposefully develop their musculoskeletal system.

Experts' opinions regarding strength training(i.e. weight training) for teenagers varies. But most of them agree on one thing: incorrect execution basic exercises(barbell squats,) can affect the health of the guys and significantly affect the subsequent formation of their musculoskeletal system.

It is better for girls and boys under the age of 16 to replace strength training with training with own weight(horizontal bar, push-ups, fitness aerobics) and cardio exercises - running, jumping, etc.

A set of exercises for children at home

Let's consider a simple option home workout for a child:

  • Starting position – feet stand shoulder width apart. The left (after – right) leg bent at the knee should be raised and touch it to the elbow of the right (after – left) hand. The exercise is repeated six times for each side.
  • Hands on the waist, feet positioned wider than shoulder level. Right leg slowly bends at the knee, the body weight is transferred to it, while left leg stands on the toe. After returning the case to initial position The exercise is repeated on the other side. Number of repetitions: five times on the right and left legs.
  • Starting position – lying on your stomach, arms extended forward. It is necessary to simultaneously tear off the upper and lower limbs, fix the position of the body at the maximum point of lifting for several seconds. The optimal number of repetitions for this exercise- six times.
  • Feet stand shoulder-width apart, hands on waist. With your feet turned outward and your back straight, you should sit on your toes and stretch your arms forward. Next you need to return to the starting position. The exercise is repeated six to eight times.
  • Feet shoulder-width apart, back straight, holding a gymnastic stick in your hands. You should alternately step over the sports equipment with each foot, while trying to keep the stick as close to the ends as possible. The optimal number of repetitions for this exercise is 10 times for each leg.

So, children's fitness is a relatively new, but at the same time very effective approach to organizing training process for preschool children and primary and secondary school students. This form of training has nothing to do with professional sports; its goal is to strengthen the health of children and promote their comprehensive development(including psycho-emotional).

Why aerobics is useful for children, what are the disadvantages, how much classes cost and how to choose a section - read in our article.

The word “aerobics” is on everyone’s lips. A complex of rhythmic movements accompanied by dance music immediately appears. Many people perceive aerobics as a sport for adults aimed at combating overweight, and which eliminates figure flaws. In fact, anyone can do aerobics, including children. A set of aerobic exercises is beneficial for a growing body: it strengthens posture; improves immunity, respiratory and cardiovascular systems; forms a healthy musculoskeletal system and improves coordination of movements.

From what age

Aerobics is suitable for both small children and school and adolescence. You can start doing it at any age, starting from 1 - 1.5 years. Exercises will be selected depending on age characteristics. For young children, activities in the form of games are possible.

Conventionally, age groups can be divided as follows: children under 3 years old, preschool age and schoolchildren.

For the little ones, exercises should be simple: walking, squats. It is recommended to practice for no more than 10 minutes. For older children, the exercises may be more complex, incorporating strength and dance aerobics and lasting 20 to 30 minutes. You can add elements of yoga, step and exercises with objects, such as a ball or body bar.

Children usually do aerobics 1–2 times a week, older children 2–3 times.

Medical contraindications

Aerobics has virtually no contraindications. You can choose any combination of exercises in accordance with the child’s health condition and enroll in a specialized group. For example, high-impact exercises will be contraindicated for children with respiratory diseases, but swimming or yoga will be beneficial. General contraindications include only serious diseases of the heart, respiratory system, trauma, disorders of the musculoskeletal system, exacerbation of chronic, viral or infectious diseases.

Boys and girls

There is no gender division in aerobics. There is something for everyone here. Rhythmic dance moves Girls especially like it, and boys cope well with exercises that require endurance. It also happens the other way around. It all depends on the individual and physical capabilities your child.

Dance aerobics develops body plasticity, a sense of rhythm, strengthens muscles. Step aerobics is suitable for children different ages. The exercises are performed using a special platform; for children it is small - up to 10 cm in height, on which various combinations of steps are performed. Children learn to maintain balance and navigate in space. Develops speed, strength and agility. Sports children's aerobics contains exercises that are found in gymnastics, but only those that do not contain complex acrobatic elements. You can engage in this type of exercise no earlier than 5 years. Sports aerobics develops flexibility, plasticity, strength and endurance. Children acquire correct posture and learn to control their body.

pros

The benefits of aerobics for children are enormous. With its help, you can accustom kids to an active lifestyle and distract them from the “street” or computers. At the same time, children improve their health, become stronger and communicate with like-minded peers.

Aerobics helps prevent diseases associated with sedentary lifestyle life - problems with excess weight or heart.

Preschoolers are easily excitable, and sports such as aerobics help direct their activity and excessive energy in the right direction.

Aerobics trains self-control. Older children are ready to cope with more complex exercises. Thanks to this, such important qualities as endurance, effort and determination develop.

In terms of health, aerobics covers all important areas of the body:

  • strengthens the muscular, skeletal and musculoskeletal systems;
  • improves joint function;
  • trains the respiratory system;
  • increases immunity;
  • forms correct posture;
  • prevents flat feet due to the work of the muscles of the lower leg and foot and stagnant processes in the body;
  • optimizes metabolism;
  • improves coordination of movements, strength and endurance to physical activity;
  • increases activity and cheerfulness.

Another advantage of aerobics is that it can be done outdoors. Moderate exercise in the fresh air is doubly beneficial.

For children school age Aerobics helps relieve mental stress after school.

Minuses

Children's aerobics is a safe sport. However, before training you should warm up well to avoid injury, bruise or muscle strain. It is best to perform the exercises under the supervision of a qualified trainer, who will ensure that they are performed correctly. Again, you can injure yourself due to one wrong movement. In general, aerobics has much more advantages than disadvantages.

How much do classes cost?

Aerobics classes can cost from 250 to 950 rubles if you pay one time. You can purchase a monthly subscription. Prices range from 1,500 to 6,000 rubles depending on the region and type of institution. You will also have to spend money on comfortable shoes and clothes for classes. For shoes, Czech shoes are suitable, for clothes: a swimsuit for girls, shorts and a T-shirt for boys.

How to choose a section

Look on the Internet at which fitness clubs or children's sports complexes, which are located near your home, have aerobics classes. Read the reviews, go to trial lesson, talk to the coach or other parents. Under no circumstances should he exercise if he doesn’t want to or is tired. Classes should be fun. It is important to interest him and make playing sports an exciting event. Then the child will only benefit from sports.

Let's sum it up

By introducing your child to aerobics from early childhood, you develop his interest in sports and a healthy lifestyle in general. By doing simple, sometimes even fun, exercises, the child will grow up strong, cheerful, resilient, and with good immunity. Isn't this what every parent dreams of?

2 State budgetary preschool educational institution kindergarten 28 Kirovsky district of St. Petersburg ACCEPTED APPROVED by the State Pedagogical Council Head of the state budgetary budgetary preschool educational institution kindergarten 28 kindergarten 28 Kirovsky district of St. Petersburg Kirovsky district of St. Petersburg N.V. Chistyakova Protocol from Order from Work program “Baby Fitness” for children from 2 to 3 years Author-compiler: Lopatina Svetlana Sergeevna teacher additional education

3 Explanatory note The regulatory framework for drawing up the program is the following regulatory documents: Law Russian Federation“On education in the Russian Federation” dated December 29, 2012, 273-FZ SanPiN “Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the design, content and organization of the operating mode of preschool educational organizations"Charter of the GBDOU, approved by order of the administration of the Kirovsky district St. Petersburg Decision of the Pedagogical Council of the State Budgetary Educational Institution on additional education of children. “I am not afraid to repeat again and again: Taking care of health is the most important work of an educator. Their spiritual life, worldview, mental development, strength of knowledge, and self-confidence depend on the cheerfulness and vigor of children.” V.A. Sukhomlinsky RELEVANCE OF THE PROGRAM Modern statistical data indicate an annual decline in the level of physical and psycho-emotional health of preschool children (T.E. Tokaeva). The main reasons that have a negative impact on the health of a preschooler are an increase in mental stress and a decrease in the opportunity for motor and emotional rest. Also important is the low level of parental knowledge about the child, his interests, needs and capabilities. The Concept of Preschool Education gives a leading place to solving problems related to the protection and promotion of children's health. Today, preserving and strengthening children’s health is one of the main strategic objectives of the country’s development. It is regulated and ensured by such regulatory documents as the Law of the Russian Federation “On Education in the Russian Federation”, “On the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare of the Population”, as well as Decrees of the President of Russia “On Urgent Measures to Ensure the Health of the Population of the Russian Federation”, “On Approval main directions of state social policy to improve the situation of children in the Russian Federation”, etc. “An urgent task physical education, says the Concept, is a search effective means improving development motor sphere children of preschool age based on the formation of their need for movement.” The implementation of the most important provisions of the Concept related to the protection and promotion of children’s health has intensified the search for new technologies for physical education health work, assessment of the health and physical development of children. Such well-known scientists in the field of preschool education as V.G. played a major role in this direction. Alyamovskaya, L.A. Paramonova, T.I. Alieva, O.M. Dyachenko, S.M. Martynova, M.N. Kuznetsova and many others. Great positive opportunities are now open to preschool institutions in terms of providing conditions for optimizing physical education and health work. The preschool period is extremely important stage in a child's life. The child is born helpless, with the only ability to learn everything over time. He's not born with ready-made set movements, but masters them in the process of life. Movement training has an impact on the health, general physical development, development of cognitive abilities, volitional qualities, emotionality of the child, i.e. on his inner world. Movement training promotes harmonious development personality, improvement of both physical and mental, intellectual, spiritual and moral qualities. By learning movements, a child acquires the knowledge necessary for his conscious motor activity and gains experience in their implementation, including creative ones.

4 Learning movements contributes to the child’s awareness of himself as an individual, develops in him the need to improve his own nature, and creates the prerequisites for the realization of his individuality. By performing a variety of movements, the child gets the opportunity to improve himself, and an interest and love for physical education is formed. Preserving and strengthening the health of pupils, as the main task of a preschool educational institution, should also be based on the child’s conscious attitude towards his health, which should become a system-forming factor in modernized physical education and health activities.

5 Target section IMPORTANCE OF THE PROGRAM: Implementing the basic health program, we strived to ensure that the physical system we developed. education, including innovative forms and methods, was organically included in the life of the kindergarten, would not over-organize children, solved issues of psychological well-being, moral education, had a connection with other types of activities, and most importantly, children liked it. The development of children would be ensured through the creation of a developmental environment and the implementation of certain pedagogical technologies. The “Baby Fitness” program is a comprehensive system for raising a preschool child who is healthy physically and morally, comprehensively developed, proactive and liberated, with a developed sense of self-esteem. The use of various techniques, traditional programs and methods, as well as innovative ones to strengthen and preserve the health of children, teachers, and parents. The emphasis of health-improving work is on the development of the child’s motor activity. Classes are structured taking into account age criteria. Dance fitness is a physical education and health activity involving dance exercises and dance music. All exercises are aimed at strengthening the physical health of children and preventing disorders such as scoliosis, flat feet, and increased excitability. And dance music is aimed at emotional development. As in rhythm, fitness classes use musical accompaniment, but more work is done with equipment: large exercise balls with “horns”, a tactile track, a trampoline, a tunnel, gymnastic sticks, hoops, balls, scarves, pyramids . PURPOSE: Promoting the formation and development of basic motor skills, visual and auditory attention, and communication skills. OBJECTIVES: improving the health of children, strengthening child-adult relationships, developing children’s decision-making skills through participation in games, developing the ability to hear an adult or teacher and follow instructions

Aerobics for children combines physical activity, sports, and entertainment. This great way throw out excess energy, strengthen the body, put weight in order, learn to interact with the team. Movement to rhythmic music is a fascinating activity for children and adults.

What it is

Aerobic exercise refers to physical activity that involves movement of light to moderate intensity. The main source for them is oxygen, which makes up 21% of the air (“air” in English). Another name for the discipline is rhythmic gymnastics.

Features of children's aerobics:

  • Classes are held in the gym, a room with equipment (wall bars, soft modules, etc.).
  • A set of exercises is compiled taking into account the physical development and interests of those involved.
  • Movements for children should be easier and more varied than for adults.
  • Different durations of classes are set for age groups.
  • Aerobic steps are adapted to the capabilities of the growing body.

Children need special exercises, which help burn “extra” energy. It is necessary to create an atmosphere for free communication and the opportunity to express one’s self.

Children's aerobics is less "routine". Classes are conducted in the form of an exciting game. Popular children's songs are chosen as musical accompaniment. They should be rhythmic and cheerful.

Parents can take the first step to getting their child interested and interested in aerobics at home. Movement to music and dancing should be encouraged. This is great fun and preparation for regular classes. Having become involved, the child himself will choose music for his movements and come up with exercises.

The benefits of aerobics for children

The key benefit of aerobics for a growing body is positive influence on psychomotor skills. Physical development is combined with the formation of coordination of movements and the ability to control one’s body, and increased activity.

The benefits of a set of aerobic exercises for a growing body:

  • Learning the ability to take steps and repetitions in a certain rhythm, to be attentive.
  • Improving the functioning of all systems of the child’s body, especially the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous, and immune systems.
  • Socialization, namely, the opportunity to meet other children and communicate in a group.
  • Increased strength and dexterity of movements, the ability to perceive space.
  • Prevention of physical inactivity, obesity, colds, flat feet.
  • Building self-confidence in communicating with children and adults.
  • Normalization of metabolism.
  • Increased endurance.
  • Strengthening your posture.

The primary importance of aerobics is to strengthen the skeleton and muscles. For teenagers, these types of exercises are important to develop flexibility and strength, and improve their figure. Classes help develop self-control, endurance, and determination.

Aerobics in preschool age additionally acts as a “lightning rod” for excessive physical activity. Classes help reduce aggressiveness, which is a consequence of the stress experienced by the child in the children's team.

Rhythmic movements to music are a useful alternative to sitting at the computer or in front of the TV. The child spends more time with peers and learns to make friends. Aerobics distracts from the yard company, which often corrupts children.

You can exercise outside, which is especially important for relieving mental and emotional stress. Physical activity and fresh air are double benefits for the body.

Harm

Aerobics for children is safe if classes are organized and taught by a specialist. It is important to learn how to warm up before training so that you do not get a muscle strain, bruise or other injury while performing complex movements.

The complex should be developed by a trainer taking into account age characteristics and limitations. It is also necessary to ensure that the exercises are performed correctly. These are not disadvantages of aerobics, but just features that need to be paid attention to in order to avoid trouble.

It is difficult to name the disadvantages of an activity that has millions of fans. For those who conduct aerobics classes with children and parents, it is important to optimize the time devoted to classes. Children get carried away easily and can forget about studying.

Medical contraindications

There are very few of them, because if a child has developmental characteristics, a set of exercises can be selected in accordance with the state of the body. General contraindications include serious pathologies of the heart and blood vessels, musculoskeletal system, and respiratory organs.

Increased loads are contraindicated for children with diagnosed respiratory diseases; there should be light exercises. Swimming and yoga are useful for this category.

Aerobics classes are temporarily canceled for children who have acute or exacerbation of chronic diseases. Physical activity is prohibited at elevated temperatures or colds.

From what age

You can start at an early age - from 1 to 3 years, by selecting exercises in the form of a game. Lesson programs for toddlers, preschoolers, and schoolchildren differ in complexity and duration.

Young children do aerobics 1 or 2 times for 8–10 minutes, older children - 2 or 3 times a week. Participants are not divided by gender. However, girls are more interested in rhythmic dance movements, while boys prefer exercises that develop strength and endurance.

Children 1.5–3 years old

An aerobics program for young children should not be difficult. The predominant movements are crawling, walking, and squatting. The music is selected from among familiar melodies - children's songs from cartoons. This technique is often used: they include special songs describing movements. Children listen and perform actions. You will need orthopedic mats, balls, rings, and toys for classes.

Preschoolers 4–6 years old

Aerobics for preschool children becomes more complex and acquires the features of a program for adults. Classes for 4-year-olds are becoming more varied and longer. Recommended duration and frequency: 20–30 minutes 2 times a week.

For children 5 years old, the following exercises are selected: , which allow you to learn to control yourself and be more attentive. The emphasis is on strengthening muscles and ligaments, developing physical capabilities. Benches are used wall bars, hoops, balls, cubes. The recommended duration and frequency of classes for children 5–6 years old is from 30 to 40 minutes 2–3 times a week.

Movements:

  • elements lying on a gymnastic mat;
  • dance moves;
  • cardio exercises;
  • squats;
  • jumping;
  • somersaults;
  • relay races

Game elements are retained, but become more complex, requiring interaction with each other. More exercises are used to develop the ability to communicate and work in a team. It is important to keep children interested in classes so that they do not miss training.

Schoolchildren 7–11 years old

Aerobics lessons for children are like a “breath of fresh air.” Schoolchildren are overloaded with classwork, homework, and need relief. Physical education lessons are not enough, and high performance sports are not accessible to everyone (and not everyone needs them).

Various sports sections come to the rescue. Aerobics is one of many options for keeping a student physically active. There are many fans of this type of activity among children aged 7–11 years. The reason is a successful combination of gymnastic, dance and strength elements in aerobics.

Exercises:

  • dance moves;
  • various jumps;
  • rotation;
  • power;
  • hangs.

The average duration of a lesson is 40-45 minutes. Training should not be monotonous, too easy or difficult. It is recommended to select a variety of exercises medium intensity. You can add yoga elements.

Teenagers 12–15 years old

A difficult transitional period is characterized by different rates of puberty and psycho-emotional problems. Aerobics can teach you to be more attentive to your body, develop physically, and look good.

Teenagers have better control over their bodies and can concentrate. Therefore, more complex ones are added to the program gymnastic elements. The use of exercise equipment is practiced (without heavy loads on the spine).

Training lasts 50–60 minutes and is held 2 or 3 times a week. First - warm-up, at the end - stretching. Cardio exercises are required.

Varieties of aerobics

The main types are adapted for children's age.

Dance

This type combines movements inherent in different choreographic styles with aerobic exercise. Dance aerobics is rightly considered the most exciting and accessible activity for children. They develop physically, have fun, become more resilient and friendly. Classes last 50–60 minutes.

Lesson stages:

  • warm-up (10 minutes);
  • aerobic exercises, dance steps, games to children's songs (40 minutes);
  • stretching and relaxation (10 minutes).

Sports

This type is more similar to gymnastics, but does not contain complex elements. The exercises are performed at a fairly fast pace. The music is chosen to be calm so that the children concentrate on performing the movements.

Enroll children in sections sports aerobics from 5 years old. Children are selected based on strength, endurance, and flexibility. Classes are held 3 times a week. The intensity and number of workouts increase over time. Children are prepared for competitions and demonstration performances.

Wellness

After the aerobic part, children perform breathing exercises (1–2 minutes), exercises to strengthen large muscle groups and the abdominals. The final part is execution breathing exercises and relaxation.

Other types

Fitness aerobics- rhythmic gymnastics for children from 6 years old, combining elements of acrobatics, choreography and other disciplines. The training at the first stage is based on the type of physical education and health classes with the aim of expanding the motor capabilities of students.

Children master basic steps, undergo choreographic training, and practice dance compositions for demonstration performances.

Step aerobics- a set of steps and jumps using a special platform called a step. Steps made for children are smaller in size than for adults. The height is 8–10 cm, width and length are 25 and 40 cm. Children take steps and jumps from the floor to the platform and back.

Step aerobics helps develop speed, agility, and a sense of balance. This is a way to strengthen the muscles of the legs and torso. Exercise has a positive effect on cardiovascular system. Gradually increase the intensity of the exercises, changing the complexes every 3 months.

It is important that when you step, the main load falls not on your back, but on your legs. The foot is placed completely on the platform. We must ensure that the movements are smooth. The musical accompaniment is selected with a clear rhythm and a relatively high tempo.

What to buy for classes

Certain requirements for clothing and footwear exist in all sports sections. Parents need to buy Czech aerobics shoes for their child. Girls practice in sports swimsuits, boys in T-shirts and shorts.

How much do classes in the section cost?

Payment is one-time or once a month. In the first case, the cost reaches 250–900 rubles. A monthly subscription can be purchased at a price of 1,500–6,000 rubles. The cost depends on the type of institution and region of residence.

Not all parents can carve out funds from the family budget for paid training. You can watch a video on how to perform an aerobics dance for children at home, and how to do exercises on the street.

The child is not forced, but is offered to take part in the lesson and do exercises to the music. Movements should bring joy and captivate children. The competitive principle will help even the lazy to achieve results.

Aerobics for children is a set of rhythmic movements accompanied by music, a sport “for everyone”, a way to maintain good health physical fitness. During exercise, your heart rate and breathing rate increase, and more air enters your lungs. Introducing a child to aerobics from early childhood helps to develop healthy image life, strengthen the body and resist diseases.
